When Killion tired of watching the embers of the city smolder in the evening light, he invited the fellow kings and commanders aboard his flagship to discuss the fate of Myr. It seemed with Frances dead some of his bloodlust had subsided. Much had already been shed, a great deal of it his own. He was pale from loss of blood, gritting in pain from having cauterized his wound with a torch. A maester had applied the necessary ointments and bandages to ensure the wound did not fester.

Amelia arrived in a white cloak with the hood pulled up. She quietly took a seat and waited for others to arrive. She wore no make up or jewels and looked very pale.

Harwyn arrived looking like he'd just had a spa day, breaking the theme of near-dead with his minimal injuries. "Frances is dead and we are not, you two should be celebrating. This could have been much worse."

Unusually out of his battle armor, Kraznys sat two seats away from Killion, leaving the closer spots for his actual vassals. He was clad in a richly woven green and yellow silken tokar, a beautiful ivory ring over his chest keeping the outfit together, in the style of his Ghiscari inheritance. The mercenary as a whole contrasted with his clothes, be it his height or the ugly scars and slave tattoos all across his hairless face.
Kraznys grunted at Harwyn's comment, he totally agreed with the Ironborn but, as always, it was not in his contract for him to give opinions.

Robyn arrived with her some of shadows, now they'd caught back up with her after the battle and resumed regular duty.
She had got a maester to see to her leg and it was bandaged, where Karrisa had cut her, making her walk somewhat gingerly abd with a limp, but she'd been assured the effects of the poison would go. She'd seen worse, the Ironborn and their King had seen her with worse.
She'd changed her shirt and trousers too, to something a little more comfortable than her armour.
She looked at Amelia for a long moment, but concentrated on the Ironborn after looking away. She'd never seen the woman look as old, without the jewels and the make up, she was not sure what to make of it.
"Happy seeing me in a return to the norm?" She said n greeting to Killion, indicating her leg and referencing how other than once, all the times they'd met she'd been injured.

"Aye, you look almost as shitty as I do. Warms the heart." he jested, whatever demon that had possessed him during the heat of battle dissipated now and his typical rakish nature returned, his bloodstained armor replaced with a simple black doublet and breeches. "Though think we all look better than Frances and his half a head. His bitch dead?"

"No." Robyn answered simply. "Leashed for now. Or more, the noose is round her neck."
She looked at Killion, "congratulations on killing him, no small feat."

Benjen arrived a moment later, dressed in simple clothes and with the bronze crown on his head. He was ready to have this over and done with quickly.

"Best pull the rope taut sooner rather than later." he warned her, knowing she was a dangerous creature. "As for Frances, your brother deserves as much credit for that. The bastard did not die easy."

"I already gave him his when we were leaving the palace." When Benjen arrived she went to stand by his side, like him wanting this to be over, but she knew Killion's words were true, she knew it before he said anything.

The gathered kings, commander, and warriors were escorted into the captain's cabin, around a large table bolted to the floor that was normally used for maps and the like. It was the most suitable place on the ship for such a meeting. Drinks were provided, as this was certainly a moment for some modicum of celebration.
"Well, you have all seen the city now, what is left of it and what Frances did to it." Killion began evenly. "Now we must decide its fate, as well as that of Karissa Dayne. I know all of you would rather leave these shores as soon as possible and never look back, but there is much to consider and our decisions here will ripple out to the rest of the world."

Benjen cleared his throat. "The North has lost a fair amount of men, clearing some space on our transport ships. We will be taking as many of the Myrish civilians as we can to bring them back with us to the North. They deserve a proper home. As for Karissa..." He turned to Robyn and waited for her to speak.

"Take the refugees where you will, enough have died this day and I am not without mercy." he replied, with a wave of his hand. "As for the city, you will all understand that I cannot leave Myr breathing down the neck of my capital without being certain it will never raise arms against me and mine again. To that end, I will either raze it or annex what remains. I see no half measures that would be sufficient. As I have already stated, enough blood has been shed, therefore I propose that Myr becomes a vassal of the Iron Empire. In return, after I have rebuilt the city and commerce returns, for five years a fifth of its profits will be distributed among the remaining victors in shares corresponding to the number of troops devoted to and lost in the fight."

"Forgive me if I am not impressed with that offer, King Killion," Benjen responded, making it clear he was in no mood for humour. "My men and the men of the other kingdoms haven't died to expand your empire, no matter what negligible concessions you wish to pay out of the profits the city will make. This was a joint operation and thus I suggest a joint rulership of the city. Those civilians who wish to stay may stay - any others will find a home in the North. Either that, or we let the city govern itself."

"Seven kingdoms and free cities will not rule one city. That is as good as anarchy. Allowing it to govern itself just leaves risk for this to happen again." Killion replied, not in the mood for jests himself. "You all pledged men to this war for your own selfish reasons." he reminded Benjen. "The Goldlands pledged men in exchange for the return of the Arbor, Pentos after Ironborn died to end their civil war, Lys in exchange for Tyrosh giving up its claim to the Disputed Lands, the Kinglands and Dorne for the promise of revenge, and you are here in exchange for our aid against Oriax-a promise made by your father. Had you claimed the lands North of the Wall afterward in an effort to secure the safety of your people forevermore, I would not have raised any objection. You all had your price and I paid each of them in turn with Ironborn blood, Ironborn land, or Ironborn gold. My price was always securing the safety of my people against Myr and I have already told you there are only two ways I see in which that can be accomplished. This option brings the least suffering and the most profit for those involved, compensation on top of what you were all already paid to get you to the table, without shouldering any of the costs to rebuild it."
