Ragnar heads for Uhtred as well. He is well aware of his duty to the king.

Uhtred makes a beeline for the King, still wanting to get the bastard for burning his flagship. Also hey, if he kills him he gets a new friend!

Killion: 123 Uhtred (-20): 121
The men clash and clang as they silently duel.
Killion: 193 Uhtred: 125 (-55)
Killion's dual swords hack and slash his bannerman apart
Killion: 149 Uhtred: 101
Killion slices a frozen leg off, then his sword cross and snip off Uhtred's head like a giant pair of scissors.

The army smashes through the dead and head for the mountain. The wounded cry out, but the cold stops their lives swiftly; open wounds freeze near instantly this far north. As they enter the cave, the Others inside flee as far and fast as they can as the living fight through the fields of dead. Tens of thusands of corpses are mutilated and dragon-roasted.

Benjen took a deep breath when he saw the dead retreat, staring down at his rotten flesh covered sword. He called out for fellow commanders to gather together so they could decide what to do next.

Kalvin and Vhagus arrive. Drogon is busy munching on the dead. His fire makes the cold a bit less painful.

Approaching his king and his fallen ally's corpse, Harwyn mourns Uhtred's passing. Being possessed by demons and imprisoned by Starks wouldn't be as fun, now.

"Just want to make sure everyone is ready," Benjen said to his sister, sheathing his sword. "Best we go in as an organized unit rather than storm in without a second thought." He managed a soft smile. "Good work out there."

Vulkon approached the commanders grouping up, now that Uthred was dead, maybe he could take his position. He stood by Killion's side faking a very bad sad grimace, what could he do, he didn't care half a shit.

Robyn wasn;t sure what difference it would necessarily make, but she was no commander, so stpped back. "Thank you" Robyn said, but didn't smile she didn't like being congratulated or celebrated for killing things well...but she knew Benjen meant well. there was still a lot to do... and it was so fucking cold still.

"We having a fucking tea party or finishing this?" Killion asked impatiently, not sheathing his blades, as the job was not done. He headed inside the cave with whoever did not feel like waiting outside in the freezing cold.

Ragnar strode up, grim-faced, his sword still bloody.

Once everyone was gathered and arrangements had been made for those who weren't going into the cave to march south it was go time.

Standing, Harwyn stared silently at Uhtred's corpse for a few more moments before following Killion. "I am going to kill every last one of them."
He'd tear the damn mountain apart if he had to.
