Round 2:
Prince Benjen Stark (+101 for PCs, +77 for troops): 301/200 King Killion Greyjoy: 166 Lord Arthur Tyrell: 145 Lord Nymos Qorgyle: 183 Ser Titus Grafton: 164 Uhtred Farwynd: 172 Lord Quentyn Cleftjaw: 111 Ilvar the Other-lover: 162 Lord Harwyn Goodbrother: 126
The Seer: 183/109
The combined army smashes the dead into pieces and in less than three hours they have slaughtered more wights than had been killed in the mainland in four months. Cavalry torch the corpses and the heavy infantry are essentially impervious to their attacks. Maybe shambling corpses make poor warriors after all.
Westeros: 23,600 (Killion passive in)

Killion squashed the Seer's decapitated head beneath a steel boot. One down, three to go.
"That was too fucking easy." he said to Benjen, as if it were obvious. Probably because it was. "Where are the rest?"

Benjen nodded. "It was too easy. This was a distraction I fear and we fell for it." He looked around to his aides. "Send a raven to Castle Black and then ready some scouts. I want the entire area scoured for the Others. And bring me that wildling!"

The prep work is done, letters sent and more. Scouts report some tribesmen in the frozen islands to the east, but no sign of any horde anywhere on the south side of the river.

Killion sends a message down his supply lines to the ships, with orders to expand the scouts to seek out enemy ships in the surrounding waters.

The order goes out. Waiting for word to return is a poor decision; the days grow short and the weather is worse every single time the sun sets. There's still no sign of the Others.

Kalvin and his scouts return to the army following the battle.

Benjen gives the order for the host to return to Castle Black, before making his way to where Kalvin, the scouts and his sister were.

Robyn is with them (yay)
When she sees her brother she immediately approaches him and hugs him,

Benjen had taken his armour off and embraces his sister as well, holding her for a long moment. "Thank the gods you're save," He said finally, his voice a little strained. When he let go of the hug he quickly looked away, tears evidently in his eyes.

"Oh Ben" Robyn said, smiling at him and touching his arm, "Don't worry about me, it takes more than a huge ball of concentrated energy to finish me off."

"I will always worry, Robyn, even though I trust you are capable of all the things you do," Benjen responded. "This whole... shit is getting too much."

"It is what it is, Brother," Robyn said, smiling again a little, and rubbing his shoulder, "We just have to bear it as best we can, and hope better things are ahead." She'd not hold her breath.

Benjen was quiet for a moment, before looking away. "I would like to not bury any more women that I love. I assume you have heard about Cassana."

"Yes." Robyn said, frowning now and hugging Benjen again, "I am so sorry brother"
