Harwyn smirked at his old companion. "I have an abundance of goodwill; not using it on anybody else. A lords life, though.. that's busy. Barely had the news of my brother before we were at Myr. It's a true hellhole now. Entire sea's toxic around it, wildfire burned most of the city, and there's two thousand men for every fort. I led a raid on one of them, got into a fight with Frances Dayne, and then learned that almost dying was pointless because while we were away, a giant fucking undead army landed on the Islands. Got home, killed twenty thousand of the bastards, and saw the king get ripped to pieces."
He's silent for a moment, taking the time to truly inspect Uhtred. "I told Killion what I thought of the Greyjoy family's decision making. He got rather offended, and now we're here, making more fantastic decisions while most of our people starve or freeze. Another day in the life of Harwyn."

He smiles at the Kings fate "Right old bastard. Hard. Ignorant. Wish I had been there to see it." he brushes it aside "and now Killion is King. Working with the greenlanders, has he gone soft? Has Myr changed him that much?" and then more softly "or has he finally regained some sense and is afraid?"

Harwyn responded with a shrug. "He has good reason to be afraid. Bad decisions are catching up to him, and he's scrounging for allies with these pathetic greenlanders. I warned that this would happen, and here we are."

I warned that this would happen, and here we are." "Unavoidable most like. It's a far different world than when I left Braavos. The real reason though..." Uhtred actually hesitates "The Farwynds of Lonley Light. They're isolated, did the undead also travel there? Any news of my family?"

Harwyn shook his head. "They did not reach Lonely Light. If they stayed on their island, your family is safe. Tens of thousands are dead or missing, though. The Islands are barely populated now."

Uhtred nodded and tapped a pattern out on the table "My brother may be a unsufferable cunt, but he's family. Thank you. And now I find myself at a crossroads. My time abroad has come to a end and things are different now. The King I desired dead is, and the resources I gathered now useless."

Pulling out another map, Harwyn gestured to the Stepstones. "We can get you a ship again, easily. I doubt your ability as a captain has faded in your time away, even if I could outsail you now, and you're good with a blade. We can begin to rebuild what we lost on that day."

"I've got men. And ships. But I may have to settle again. This threat of the undead might be less than what I suspected. If the events I've heard about are true, the Others power may have been broken before this." he shrugs "or mayaps not. I would move with your men though. I am loathe to reveal myself to have my head cut off immediately. I would rather be on any kind of ship than be with these lily-livered greenlanders."

"Wouldn't have it any other way. Most of my men are Ironborn that survived the betrayal. They're loyal to me, and remember you well. Once Killion gets used to being king and things calm down, we can go from there." Reaching over the table, Harwyn held his hand out to Uhtred. "It's good to see you again, friend."

Uhtred shakes it firmly "Aye. Things may be different, but this can still work. I fucking doubt you even figured out what to do with a oar. I'll have to set you straight again."

Harwyn hmph's at that, shaking his head. "Just be sure you don't go burning my boat. You've clearly put more effort into your studies than I did."

"Imagine most of the boys would welcome any fire to warm their bones at this point though, eh? I'll have to see what I can do for a disguise." Uhtred nods slowly, something coming together inside his head "Something familiar, something new. Have you had any contact with the demons? Heard about what they've done?"

"I've done well avoiding them since our last encounter. A few rumbling-ons about potential activity, but nothing more. Wasn't too keen on facing them alone." Harwyn shakes his head as he thinks back on Myr and Yeen. "We'll have to see them some time, for old times' sake."

"I have no doubts." the memories cross his mind as well and it only causes a minor tick now. "I'm found where The Others are. Benjen's been informed. We should get moving soon."

/////
Lord Nymos and the other Dornish were set up at their camp, doing their best to survive this harsh land. Whether desert or tundra, the rules of a harsh land remained the same. You adapt to it, and you use whatever it gives.
Wrapped in thick furs, Nymos had just returned with other scouts with whatever firewood could be scourged up for them. He stays freezing as he watches the wood being passed out, "Make sure every man gets enough to survive. If need be, we'll share fires. No one gets more than any other..." He said, waiting to be the last to receive his. He could endure the cold for now, but without their forces, they're would be no might to rise in the continuing battle.
