Benjen observes the town from a distance, standing on deck of the ship taking him and his men beyond the Wall.

The town is mostly caves, or was, anyway. now it seems at best lightly populated; Benjen only sees thirty or so people about, and most of those are near the small fishing boats around the docks. The small landing spots are in awful disrepair, and it's clear no major ships have been here for some time. Gerald Bolton frowns. "I thought this place was supposed to be a city of some sort. This ain't even a fucking hamlet."
On shore, the wildlings regard the approaching galley with fear and many start heading back to the caves.

Benjen studies the town, frowning slightly. "What did you expect? The wildlings aren't exactly known for their architectural genius," He said. "Though I get the feeling they're not going to be too keen on talking to us."

"I mean more like...shouldn't a town have people?" He shrugged as they put ashore. "We can find some." Orys frowned, his short stature making him look like a child in man's clothing, wielding a longsword two handed.
"Logan doesn't let his men use the towns. They stick to the hills and such in small groups now, unless threatened. Makes it easier on supplies."

"That makes sense," Benjen agreed as the ship came closer to the dilapidated harbour. "Probably easiest to land with some row boats. I'll go on the first one - Gerald, Orys, I'd like the two of you with me."

The men hop on with him as eight of them per boat head for shore. They land without issue. Orys looks about. "I can announce you, if you'd like. They may as well know someone worth talking to is here."

Benjen nodded. "Aye, let them know who's here. Not here to hurt anyone either, I just wanted to know about the Grey Man."

"That'll put me out of breath," he said. He shouts out. "Prince Benjen Stark here to talk to whichever of you useless fucks claims to be in charge!" A long silence follows.
After a few minutes a giant appears in one of the larger caves, a lady who looks distinctly un-Westerosi following him. She has long blue-dyed hair and jewelry about her person. "Prince, hm? How...unusual. This isn't a usual vacation spot," she observed.

"I could say the same thing to you," Benjen responded humorously. "Lorathi?" He asked, extending a hand to the woman while giving a respectful nod to the giant. He didn't want to have his hand crushed.

"How clever," she said. "Julia the Sea-Blessed," she said. "This isn't home for me, my dear prince," she said, picking a spot off his clothes, "this is exile. Prison, really. A rather ignominious one, and now, a dangerous one." The giant stared at Benjen.

"Exile? What for?" Benjen asked curiously. "A strange place to send someone but I guess it makes sense. How long have you been here?"

"Two years." She smiled. "I tried to remove my idiot brother from power. This is where his goons dropped me off."

Benjen frowned. "You could have come south when my man Crowl came here and took all all the wildlings," He suggested. "So what do you know of the Grey Man?"

"Look at how pretty I am," she said. "You think I trust myself to all those men? I hid for over a year. Now the Grey man...he is something else, or his followers are," she said. "The dead, you mean."
