The northern fleet under lords Stark and Manderly have surrounded the island fortress. Burned ships remain from a battle that had clearly been recently fought, and the northern ships are circling about, intercepting any ships that try to escape.

Robyn arrived with Nick and maybe Mychel, if he wanted to, and also her six guards, she looks much recovered, her hair past her shoulders now a little. With help of a fast metabolism. "This is it then," she said to her brother. She announced herself when she arrived, and asked to be directed towards the flagship.

The fleet is massive, larger than any she may have ever seen at sea, and she is taken to the east side of the island, where two massive galleons sit near each other. The White Fang is Lord Kalvin's new pride and joy, scars on it and scratches on its name hunting it is newly captured, while Lord Devan's Winter's Bite sits a quarter mile from it. The corsair the three are on swiftly approaches, hailing, and the Lord of Winterfell's men lower the ramps for them to board. Sand is spread across the deck to soak up the blood from the recent battle, and now being swept off.
Kalvin looks hale, a few cuts and bruises on him but he smiles grimly as the trio and the six crossbowmen board. "Welcome to your father's new armada!" He greets. He kisses Robyn formally on the cheek and claps Nick and Mychel on the back. "You missed the fun by eighteen hours!" He said with exuberance. "Twenty ships destroyed and a dozen taken for five. Only a hundred dead for us," he said. "The Lentoshi are running scared to their mothers now, and nothing at the harbor can move without our say so." He is clearly in a fantastic mood. "Lord Devan's plan royally fucked them," he continued. He looks at Tully and Robyn a second but says nothing about it for now.
"Let's go downstairs. This captain has a Volantene wine you wouldn't believe!" The cabin is large and well furnished, and he pours four glasses. "So, still set on trying to sneak on these ship?"

Robyn is not hugely comfortable on the sea, she doesn't get sea sick, but she doesn't exactly feel steady, and she darted over the ramp like a booting horse, which inadvertently made it more likely for her to fall. "It looks like she was hard won, congratulations, good they named her something north appropriate," she smiled, and kissed his cheek back.
She looked round as the bloody sand was wiped away, and was immediately put ill at ease, hoping one of those twenty ships was not one they wanted.
"Did the pentoshi make a push against your blockade then?" She asked, trying to diplomatically find out if Kal had attacked them. "Do you keep a log of the ships sunk?" She asked. "I will have to congratulate Lord Daven also, father will be very happy, I am sure." She noticed the look at Mychel and rolled her eyes, following him down into the cabin.
Robyn took the wine and raised it to him in a toast, then took a sip. She looked round admittedly impressed. "Yes, still set, if the ship we need is still here, it's called the Sailor's Dawn."

"It's still in port then," he said. "It's a trading cig and not a warship. Since we talked I had a list made of every ship there was we could see." He hands it to her. "Lord Devan split out fleet and the Pentoshi tried to make a run for it. They didn't get far." He frowned at her insistence. "What is the plan to get close unseen? The island is on full alert." He tapped a finger. "We can begin our assault on the island tomorrow at a different location and draw the defenders off, or we could simply negotiate for the poor girl, can't we?"

"Then they will know we know she is here, if she is" Robyn said, looking at the list, for the name, "and then they will wonder why we are looking for her." She commented, "a distraction would be helpful, if people are looking at ships and cannons firing, or the island, they won't be looking at the water. Perhaps we could swim" Robyn said, looking at Nick, to see what he thought. She ignored kale disapproving look at her stubbornness. "They might kill her, or push out.. They only need to get one ship off, if they know we're coming for her"

Nick shrugs. "We could try rowing to shore at night, but that doesn't give us much of an escape plan," he said. "If she is here our best case scenario is they moved her to the town or the castle. This one will be very tough." Kalvin is more annoyed at the plan, which even by Nick's admission isn't a great plan, but he stays silent. "When we find her we will just have to hold up and wait for you guys, I guess," he concluded.
Mychel is silent through the meeting, and Lord Stark finally nods. "Very well. Slip off tonight in the rowboats and the fleet will commence the assault before dawn. They'll never see you coming." He hopes.

"I promised my father that I would not do anything foolish," Robyn said, not particularly happy with his disinterested attitude given how important she said this was, "if you think the plan is bad, Nick, if there is anything better, please tell me? Both plans are entirely dead ant on two things, if she is there, and where she is if she is there. If we row to shore and she is on the boat or not here... Then were rowing to a pointless end. I don't want to risk lives unnecessarily."

So we're clear, the remaining boats are all docked. The blue water fleet is destroyed.
Nick nodded. "I've sensed someone with a fair bit of power in the island, but the feeling is being obscured. There are definitely sorcerers here. They have to be guarding someone important."
Kelvin looks profoundly unhappy yet, not seeing the point with his vast fleet ready to go. "Every plan sounds risky, but with a diversion you should at least have surprise on your side. Once you find her light the ship on fire and five hundred men will come to your aid."

Oh okay, so we can row over and see the boats anyway, maybe, still sneak on, I thought some were off out away from the island still.
"Or they want us to think they do" Robyn said, thinking of it for the first time, maybe this was a trap. Too late to pull out now. "Worst case scenario, Nick, how long do you imagine it will take us to search the castle? Assuming we manage to go undetected?" She asked her brother, looking briefly to Kalvin, "that is as good a signal as any, of course, it might be difficult if we are trapped in the castle to do so."

"A few hours," he said. "Hopefully. I find it more likely she is in the town though." He nodded. "If she's all the way in the keep only a conventional assault will work. That path leading to Dragonstone is almost impossible to traverse undetected." He nods. "Especially seeing it now. I think the Pentoshi may not even know she's there, and this is someone else holding her."

"Wherever you think is best. Probably better to start in the town then if we need to storm the keep, we can signal to Kalvin." She glanced at the lord. "We should leave a few hours before dawn then?"

"Probably for the best, that way our assault can coincide with your landing," he said. "They have wildfire I think, so we've had to plan carefully. We are hitting the island from three sides simultaneously. It should freeze them in place while we secure the island. The castle can wait for the Stormlanders if it won't surrender."

"We had best hope she oils in the town." She looked to Nick. "As for the Wizards, I was discussing things with father an Amelia and Ben, at they seemed to think, it was the bolton's"

"Malryas," he mumbled. "I've wanted revenge on that son of a bitch for years." Mychel hops up, looking green under the deck, and he sprints off to go vomit. Kalvin watches him leave without a hint of amusement.
"If she is held by the Boltons, you're going to have a hard time getting by them," he said. "Those two were dangerous when we were children and they have only gotten worse."
