"King's orders," he laughed. "Grab a horse and follow us while we head to the docks if you want." He gets him a horse. "Talk, man!" He says cheerily.

"Always up for a ride." Dud says taking the horse. "Well I've heard of your recent naval prowess. Never knew you were a sailor." Dud said with a laugh. "I never thought of myself as one either, but I find myself the Lord of one of the most important naval defensive castles on the western border... Any advise or aid would be more than appreciated."

"Oh," he said, "you need Manderly for that. I just cut heads off and tell him where to go. My advice though is keep the shores watched, because there's no way to stop them from landing on the west coast. And go for kills not ships. We need to bleed them white."

"I don't care where they land as long as it's not Seagard. I'll have no problem killing, when we are on solid ground." Dud replied. "Did Manderly come to the festival?"

"He's up ahead," Kalvin said. "We can't spare ships but I wish you well my lord," he said.

"I would never expect you to spare any, seems like there is a lot happening on the eastern coast." Dud replied, "though if you had an experienced shipwright or a recommendation of one that would be great. I'm sure Lord Manderly knows something about that as well. I thank you for the advice, a cut down a few extra men for me in your next battle."

Manderly shows up. "Lord Mudd," he offers. Heard you needed me?" The northern ships are being loaded for sailing away.

"Lord Manderly!" Dud replied. "Aye, I've been looking to speak with you about ships." Dud looks out at the ships being loaded up. "Wondering if you had any good advice or a good shipwright that you recommend. I'm trying to rebuild a strong fleet out of Seagard and well ships have never been my strong point."

Manderly frowned. "the best are in Oldtown right now," he said. "But I can send a man from White Harbor. Do you have the gold? If the port isn't protected the raiders will just steal it. Happens all the time."

"I have some." Dud answered sort of unsure. He left his castellan to deal with most of the finances. "Looking to speak with the Goldlands as well, Old town could be a good stop then. Figure it's in their interest too that I have ships on the western coast."

"Undoubtedly," the admiral agreed. "We could have used you for Dragonstone. Maybe you can join our campaign once its fallen," he said.

"I would relish the opportunity to join you in the campaign." Dud answered "fight well in Dragonstone and I will try and join you after."

Devan offers a hand, and then they board the ships.
