"The war was over, but if we are we'd then YOU'RE my wife!" He said. "As far as how long I live for, I could go and sit in my castle and be safe, but that's now who I am, what I am. I'm a killer, not a lord, but life will go on for everyone else like it has for all of history. Maybe we will only have a year or five or ten, but every day with you would be better than being given a hundred without."

Robyn let her frustration show again. "You don't understand what I mean!' she said to him, exasperated, "if you die me and all of our children are at the mercy of your son."

"The only solution is to disinherit him, then," he said. "Send him to Oldtown forever, pretend he is my bastard."

"I don't want that Kalvin." Robyn said, looking up at him, "I have never wanted that. I never asked for you to disinherit your son, I can't expect you to. That is no solution. Besides. All it would bring from you is resentment. You'd look at me as the woman who wanted you to disinherited your own flesh and blood. " She shook her head.

"Then we raise the boy right and you'll never need fear him. Anyway you have your brothers to keep you safe if I die," he said.

"I do not need them, or you, or anyone, to keep me safe. what I do need is a future, for any children I have as certain a future as possible." she replied.

"I will guarantee our children will be given a future befitting their status as nephews to a king," he said. "And grandsons to another. Do you truly think I will love our sons any less? I'm not the best parent in the world but I assure oh that is not how it works."

"I need time to think." She said, sighing, picking up his drink and taking a big drink herself, "But I do not think I have any time left."

Kalvin shrugged. "I have waited eighteen months for you. I can wait a while more. I'll be at Dragonstone. Maybe this problem will be made easier by the gods there." His voice is deflated and defeated. "This is not the reunion I had in mind, but perhaps it is what needs to be."

"Is Dragonstone not still under the control of other forces?"
"Please don't be sad." She said, touching his hand, "This is not what I wanted either. I want us both to be happy... I want us to be happy together.what kind of reunion did you expect?"

"I'm going to reclaim it," he said. "If I'm too volatile for peace, I can stay at war." He shrugs. "Maybe we will be happy. I just hope that however it ends, you are." He gives her a hug and kisses the top of her hair. "I have some accounts to settle now, Robyn. I hope it is t another year before we meet again."

"Be careful" Robyn said, hugging him back, looking at him one last time, then leaving.

Kalvin and his men are moving out, but the warrior stops to talk. "Dudley," he said. "How is your new castle treating you?"

"It's treating me very well, thank you, bit of a drastic change from what I was used to but I'm getting used to it." Dud looks as he sees Lord Stark's men moving out. "Leaving so soon? I was hoping to speak with you, if you have time."
