Fairly obvious. Loads of space and quintains and no shortage of warriors training at all hours. More popular yet are the betting booths near it.

Robyn arrived to the yard, escorted by the handsome Brandon Marbrand.
"So, tell me a bit more about yourself, other than training, what do you enjoy?"

Dozens of men are battling it out in the yard, taking advantage of the chance to face unfamiliar foes. Robyn recognizes plenty of men from the war, chief among them the giant Clegane. Brandon watches as they walk. "I sail occasionally, and I like hunting a lot...I guess most of us noblemen don't have many interests," he admits. "I read Valyrian now and again, but I'm not fluent in it."

"Sailing is nice" She said smiling, "Dangerous in the waters round you though surely," She said, looking at the massive Clegane, as he squared off against his foes, having never seem him in action before."Too busy for interests."

"Too boring," he said. "All we like is war and women and ale. Preferably all at once," he said. "I'm hoping this peace lasts." He thinks another moment. "Ashemark's waters are dangerous sometimes, but lately the Ironborn have essentially abandoned the Sunset Sea. They look east now." Hollis is beating five men with little effort, no man able to match his reach or his power. He seems bored. Brandon looked at him. "He's terrifying to face," he admitted. "He beat me and all three of my brothers once. Simultaneously."

Since he had arrived at Mason's Keep, Lyonel Vikary was a frequent visitor to the yard, where he put in a couple of hours of training per day. Despite the many training, it wasn't long before he spotted his kinsman and neighbor Brandon Marbrand, talking to a woman he recognised as Robyn Stark. He gave a small grin. Well, well. It hadn't taken him long.
He sauntered across to speak to Brandon. "Brandon! I had not realized that the Marbrands had arrived at Masons Keep! You must share a cup of wine at my tent before the day is out." He turned to greet Robyn, who he had often seen but never formally spoken to.
"Princess. I am Ser Lyonel Vikary. I have not seen you since the war against that whoreson Bryce Dayne, but I don't believe we have formally met. I commanded King Brynden's cavalry in the war."

"Three brothers and a at least one sister, quite the big family you have, " she said looking at cleaned still, trying to judge if he were bigger or smaller than the crowl. "Big men are usually slow, I wonder if he is the same? It's alright being quick around strong men like him, but all you need to do it get caught once and -" she hit her fist into the palm of her hand.
As the new comer ran up she turned to face him. Now he was really handsome, he looked as if he could harness the power of lightning with his looks. She had never met him before.
"And what a good job you did," Robyn said, not sure if she sounded condescending, "I am Robyn stark, but you... Sound like you knew that already,"

Brandon nodded. "Ser Lyonel. We arrived late last night. Everyone else chose to sleep in. Life is too short for sleep," he said. "I trust you'll be Ser Hollis's next opponent?" he gestured. "I'd stay on the horse for it were I you," he joked.
He answers Robyn. "Regrettably for his enemies, he is neither slow nor stupid, I fear." Hollis is almost two feet taller than the crowl, who is a mere 6'2". He also must mass a hundred fifty more pounds.

Lyonel laughed. "You're right Brandon. I'll fight Clegane on horseback, if he also fights on horseback. I pity the poor horse that has to carry that though. We may meet in the lists anyway at some stage."
He kept grinning, as his eyes turned to the princess. "Who hasn't heard of Robyn Stark? Deadly with the bow as well as knives is the story I hear."

"I am sure there is someone... somewhere who has not" She said. getting a bit bored of being recognised everywhere now. It made introductions difficult.
"Good luck against him, I'd not want to fight him." She looked round at Brandon and smiled, "I'll leave you to your friend them, I am sure you have much to catch up on."

Brandon thinks a second. "Ser Lyonel," he said, "we should all meet up tonight for dinner. I haven't seen my aunt in quite some time."
He turns to Robyn. "Our families have all the time in the world to catch up. It'd be ungentlemanly to leave you alone."

"I don't much mind about gentlemanly, in all honesty," she said and shrugged, "you can do whatever you prefer"

"I ask your pardon. I have interrupted your conversation with my cousin." said Lyonel with another grin. "I must go anyway."
A shadow fell across his face. "Before I leave you, you may be able to answer a question for me. Is Lord Bolton in the camp of the Northmen?"

"Just a friendly chat," she said smiling a little, "And yes, I believe he is, why do you ask?"

"He's a relative." Lyonel replied, his face setting a little more, hearing that Bolton was here. "We have certain things to discuss."
