"If that is true, I'm glad to hear it. We need to stand together, the worlds seems as if it is balanced on the edge of a massive chasm. I'd prefer when we hit bottom, we're not squished under everyone else."

"Divided we fall." replied Lyonel simply. "Our realm needs a strong leader and I'm convinced that Tomas Serrett is that man, in the wake of King Brynden's incapacity, which hopefully will be temporary."

"Oiy you two. Ready for a spot of battle?" A voice came from a distance. Korben Kenning rode towards the two on his steed, having decided to take part in this battle. It was the trident after all, tales of legend came from this spot of mud and water. It would be good to fight here.
He smiled as he walked over to them, looking at the two with their posed weapons, his axe leaning on his shoulder, "What we doing now?"
The Trident, the place whee Lewyn Martell was slain in battle, along with many other Dornish, for a mad king. Nymos breathed a heavy sigh as he looked at this simple stretch of land. So much blood shed, for such an unworthy cause. Yet that was life, what it meant to follow ones honor and duty to its end.
He had decided to take part in this event alongside those of the Order. The old and the new of Dorne, working alongside one another in a show of unity. It would be a good chance to give his old bones a nice strech.
He spotted Cedric Dayne and another infamous figure, The Ironborn Lord himself. He stopped in his tracks as his eyes narrowed, slowly approaching the two with a suspicious glance.

"Waiting for this thing to start. And hoping a few of the Ironborn are on the other side!" He gave a bark of laughter.

Maekar chuckled,"I think I'd be okay with that, sending a few of them limping off wouldn't exactly darken my day."

"Stay mounted in that case." replied Lyonel. "Both of you."

Maekar shook his head,"Not a fan of mounted combat." He nods to his spear,"After the first charge, it's too easy for them to get inside my guard."

Lyonel nodded. "There's no better feeling than a horse between your legs, charging the enemy." He grinned at the othe two. "Well, maybe one other."

"Gotta say, between a horse and a two handed grip, I'd go with grip..." He said as he motioned to his axe, "If we get an ironborn on our side, I hope they;re okay working with a back-stabbin son of a salt-whore. Or a Kenning of Kayce, for short..." He said with a mocking grin.

Maekar snorted,"Wouldn't expect any different from them."

Lyonel laughed. "My aim might be a little faultier than normal, if I find myself shoulder to shoulder with an Ironborn."

"Seriously though, I'm not dropping my performance just to hit an Ironborn..." Korben said, his usually cheerful smile dropping a bit as he looked to the others with a serious look, "So let us pray to the Seven that they all end up on the other side of this fight."

"I have heard of this Crowl. He really uses no weapon save fist?" Cedric asks. "But brutal and dim is easy to fight." "His fists are weapon enough, it seems." he replied. "Many a legendary warrior thought the same and they're all dead now."

"Fascinating," Cedric said. "I must see this." He had been far from him at Qarth. "It would make some sense; wouldn't need as many joints in plate to require motion if you don't need to swing for leverage."

Crowl meanwhile is off to the side looking at the gathering fighters trying to see if any where worth adding to his new collection of disposable hand puppets, or his old collection of skulls.
