"They did before the Republic," she said. "But with the people helping them no bandit can remain hidden for long. We voted on an old war hero to lead them, and he's been stringing them up by the dozen, he has."

"Old war hero huh? That this hill fellow I keep hearing about?" Korben asked as he smiled to himself, looking to the women as he looked to the selection, "I'll take a sweet mead..." He said as he awaited his drink.
"It is good to hear about these bandits being taken care of. There have been a number of attacks by bandits back near the western coast. I was afraid I would run into a particularly nasty piece of work...Garret Greenhorn. Also known as Garrett the Green..." He said as his one eye looked towards the women, and anyone else in the inn, if any. Trying to gauge the reactions of the people.

Everyone nods. "Garrett is quite a piece of work," the innkeep agrees. "Some people say he's a hero, stealing and donating to the people. I think he had a noble goal but his followers lately have been taking it too far. Hurting people is wrong is wrong, regardless of whether you like their lifestyle," she said. "He's been off on the Riverlands side of the border for the last few weeks near Oldstones."

"Oldstones, huh? Sounds like a might nice place to avoid. Thanks for the advise, Ma'am." Korben said with a grateful nod.

As midnight rolls around, the knight hears the tramping of feet ojtside. Sounds of metal clinking into a bucket or something of the sort can be heard, and low voices.

Korbens eye cracks open as he hears the noises, slowly rising to his feet as his vision adjusts to the darkness. He goes to grab his axe as he looks around the room for anything odd. He begins to walk towards the exit as quietly as he can.

He sees a few people moving something that clinks and looks heavy outside.

Korben leaves the inn, ax in hand as he looks around for whoever it is making this noise.

A sentry woke Lyonel where he was camped nearby. "Ser! There are people moving outside the inn. Ser Korben is inside." he whispered urgently.

Men and women are about, tossing silver coins from a barrel. Smallfolk are picking them up and making racket.
