Lord Maekar sends ten groups of five riders, in a crescent shape towards the sept when he is an estimated two hours away. He sends them with instructions to retreat to the main group if they run into trouble and gives each of them a rainbow colored flag of peace.

The men report that the rebels are all fled to the small town in front of the sept, which has been stoutly fortified. No one has answered calls for talks yet.

He sends five men back to Highgarden to retrieve pitch and torches, he then has the carpenters begin building a large wooden shield on wheels. They set up camp a mile from town, preferably near something defensible like a stream or hill. Maekar takes five men with him and walks his horse towards the edge of town, bringing along the rainbow colored flag.

Maekar looks for anything that would give away the man's identity. He coughs and strains his voice so it was louder. "Turn cloak? I think we see things much differently, I followed my father to war and when he and the main branch of our family were destroyed root and stem, I did what was best for my family."

The men shrug. "The Seven declared the king the lord of the realms," they said. "Nothing has changed that."

"And were is he now?" Maekar sighed,"I have no desire to do battle, I have been appointed by Lady Hightower to bring the Kong's Justice to these lands, but I'd much rather come to an understanding than being the sword."

Rushers Tyrell, you assume.
The man shook his head. "Northern harlot brought down by the lion king to repress the Faith," he said. "The small folk know Brynden Lannister's true colors."

He shook his head,"Northern, southern. What matters is that she is brings a fair hand to ruling and will provide stability." He cleared his throat with a cough,"Nobility, peasantry and the Faith have all scene enough death, how many more of your men must die when we could be rebuilding together."

He looks at the knights that came with the man,"How many men are their in that town? How many do you think the King will send if this continues? Now that the war is over, the realm's attention is focused on you." He pointed back towards the town,"That has been your home of late, help me rebuild it, and make the land safe enough for another harvest."

The rite is performed swiftly enough, and the majority of the men lay down their arms in surrender. Apparently no one had even bothered coming to deal with them before the young lord.

Maekar stands and says to the man he was parlaying with,"Where is the tavern in town and is it burnt down? I need a place of operations." He orders the weapons to be kept in a cart,"Don't worry, I'll be giving those back soon enough, I could use your help if you and your men are willing."
