You and your men are seasoned warriors, and are needed now, more than ever, to bring peace to the realm." He took a seat at table, and beckoned to his squire, mentioning a map of the Goldlands and parchment, plus a quill. "There are men out there, men without morals, who are taking advantage of the ebb in law through out the land. I am here to stop them, get the crops to grow and the people happy."

If we give them a way out, one in which peace is a reality, things should start to settle down." He pointed to the map,"How many men do you have? And is there any non-outlaw controlled towns or villages near us?"

He sighed through his nose,"Keep fifty of your men, I'm putting you in charge of this town until a knight or mayor can be found. I'll be leaving two carpenters and a stone mason with you as well. Make whatever improvements are needed and bring this place back to life, how many families or refugees are in the area?"
