Clarence just glares. Eliza looks to the men. "As you say." Zayn motions.
"If you want to see something truly unbelievable, you need to see the titan apes." He nods. "Nothing in the world is like a titan ape."

"Titan apes, you say?" he looked wide-eyed and excited, the Ironborn ever fond of tall tales...especially when they were true. "It seems this continent has no shortage of wonders."
He returned his sword to its sheath.

"Horrors, are what we say. They are easily twenty feet tall and carnivorous," Zayn said. "Some are on the delta islands. The only saving grace is they hate the water, so they only move islands during the dry season."

"Ever manage to bring one down?" he asked, clearly more intrigued than terrified of the prospect.

"At cost," Zayn said. "Swamp wyverns kill them on occasion, but the beasts are smarter than normal animals and will flee a situation they feel disadvantaged at." He shakes his head. "We have a man who hunts them, but no one crazy enough to join him unless necessity dictates it."

"Sounds like fine sport." he remarked, half-serious. "How many settlements do you have?"

"Three, but only Slayer's Rest is large. These are just trade outposts and sanctuary from the jungles. We turned an old brindled men fortress into a proper city."""

"Still an impressive amount accomplished in such a short period in such an unforgiving land." he commended. "Vengeance is clearly a motivator that can move mountains."

"Indeed," she said. "And the Queen is ever so full of wrath." She rises. "I shall be off now. I wish you all a good night. The river boating always makes me queasy, and I must ready my stomach."
As she leaves Zayn chuckles. "Hate having her go, love watching her leave. Am I right?" he winks. "This continent is death given natural form, it is."

"They say nothing strengthens the sea legs more than a night with an Ironborn." he replied, favoring Eliza's backside with a licentious twinkle in his eye. He had the gibbering native girl otherwise, but preferred a bit of fight in his women.
"Indeed, it is the most dangerous things that are typically the most alluring." Killion mused, returning Zayn's wink with a bold grin. "Death has a beauty all its own."

Zayn shrugs. "I don't miss the open fields of the Dothraki Sea," he said. "At least there the things trying to kill you are obvious. The poisonous snakes here are deadly and near damned impossible to sea."

"Thank you for ensuring I will not be sleeping soundly this evening, Zayn." he laughed. "What business had you in the Dothraki Sea?"

"I am from there," he said. "Born in the slave city of Vaes Dothrak." He nods. "No one handles animals like the horse people."

"I had heard your people feared the sea." he sneered. "Glad to see you could overcome such an unfortunate cultural aversion."

"Wise men fear the sea for the ironborn who reave it," the man said. "Wiser men fear the Dothraki Sea, for the horselords who rule it." He shrugs. "I don't much care for something so fickle and unreliable, but then someone who raises reptiles who can kill with one change of emotion would find unpredictability unappealing."
