Morgan nodded. "You're not so old, Father. But I know you have your duties here."
She drew him to one side, out of earshot of the stables.
"Father, will you ever forgive me? I know that my actions were foolish and wrong. I wanted to change my own life. I forgot to think about everyone left at home."
