"Yes.! She told him the tale of Lann the Clever first, then Florian and Jonquil after that. But then she was tired again and her back was still sore and she began to yawn.
"How long can we go before we need to change horses?" She asked sleepily.

"Tonight," he said. "I think. Going to be a bit of a pain." He pulls out a book. "I stole this from that entrance hall maester. It might be enlightening to you."

She took it from him, careful not to damage the bindings, then began to flick curiously through the pages. "I waited so long to get my hands on a book from the Citadel," she said with reverence. "And this may be the only one I ever hold, if my vengeance fails.
She blinked several times to stave off sleep while she examined the book.

It's a journal of some sort. It is in a code. Hopefully Morgan likes codebreaking!

She was tired enough to desire a nap but first she wanted to see if she could get even the gist of one of the pages of the journal. She thought for a moment and began to look at the words to seek patterns, drawing on her knowledge of High Valyrian.

there is a clear pattern to the symbols, at least, but deciphering it will take weeks. Fortunately...weeks are one thing she has.

She frowned at it. "I wonder why he carried this thing with him," she remarked to Olyvar, between yawns. "I'll see if I can work it out. Later. I need sleep."
She yawned again, leaned back and soon fell asleep.

When Morgan woke, she looked out the window to see what time of day it was. She smiled over at Olyvar, now feeling better than she had since her arrest.
Then she remembered the book and began to study it as they drove.

For a few days she studies, until they reach Highgarden. The castle is near destroyed yet, and the new oocupants are busy trying to rebuild the shattered walls and town.

She felt a brief pang of sadness for the damage done to the region but, after all, Lord Tyrell had risen in rebellion against the Lannisters, so it was hardly more than Highgarden deserved.
"We should take the Ocean Road," she said to Olyvar.

They cross the Mander and begin on the Ocean Road towards Lannisport. Whispers of the Iron Fleet's presence continue about, but they don't see anything for the eight days they ride to the giant western city.

Morgan continued to study the coded book while they travelled. When they reached Lannisport, she said "Do you think we need fear the Ironborn at present?"

"Oh. Well, I know they attacked Lannisport a while back. The thing is, I have an acquaintance among the Ironborn, met him for trade reasons before these raids began. I expect you know how some of them held lands on the Flint Cliffs. I heard a rumour in Oldtown that they lost their lands."
