With that taken care of, Killion sought out King Euric.
"Father, I have considered where to strike next and remembered something Vhagus told me that may help us decide. There is a place within our means to take, with great wealth that does not have the advantage of a professional fleet but is a cornucopia of men with ships who may find our way of life agreeable."

Euros makes a motion with his hands while Tessa listens. "Go on then."

"The Basilisk Isles." he revealed. "Populated by corsairs, slavers, and those deemed too vile for the civilized world." he smirked. "Our kind of people."
"Vhagus informed me that the western shores of Sothoryos are teeming with silver mines. If we colonize the islands above then, those riches would be ours for the taking. I could take an expeditionary force east while the main fleet repairs to see about settling these lands and recruiting these corsairs."

"You'll need a real force," Eric said. "A dozen galleons at the least. The master less men can fight."

"Of course, by expeditionary force I did not mean to imply one without teeth." he replied, with his sharkish smile. "Men who live by the sword only answer to the sword."

"Good. Test their strength," he said. "Don't hesitate to request more forces." He looks about. "Take blackwall with you and don't catch the fucking plague. Those islands are notorious for shit like that."

"Hard lands for hard men." Killion mused, curious to see if those unforgiving islands had bred a similar sort. "I will do what I can to remain in good health."
"What should be done about the Iron Titans if Farwynd and Goodbrother fail to return?"

"Everyone can use shock troops," Euric said. "The tru ironmen can prove their loyalty. The others can feed the crocodile I've heard so much about."

"Fair enough. I will enlist them for the voyage east." he replied. "Ho goes the work on the fleet?"
"And the management of Tyrosh?" he eyes his wife.

"Hangings, beheadings, restoring order," she says lazily. "Almost tiresome."

"Aye, governing hardly makes the blood run hot." he smirked at her matter-of-fact delivery. "I paid a visit to Kings Landing during my reaving...or what was left of it."

Euric nods. "Total ruin, is it?"

"Not sure we could have done any better." he replied, likely the highest form of compliment for Ironborn. "Dayne was thorough."

Euric laughed. "Good. Silly stags anyway. Even fewer to oppose us from that quarter." He frowned. "I have heard tell, though, that the old Baratheon fleet is sailing to White Harbor. Manderly alone remains of the old admirals of Westeros."
