In the wake of the full mobilization of the Faith Militant, the breakdown of talks between the North and West with the Iron Islands, and Bryce Dayne's unending war of conquest, it seems that the entire continent is mobilizing.
At Eddard's Rest, Lord Kalvin Stark and Prince Benjen assemble a vast host. Lord Durand Coldwater and his remaining Vale army march southeast from Lord Harroway's town, while the Northmen are moving south along the Kingsroad.
In the Riverlands, a strong army is securing the coastlines and a force marches to Deep Den to join with one of Lord Jaymes Lannister's hosts, preparing to move south, into the endless fields of the Reach.
More knights and banners are called across the lands as word of an expected attack from Pyke comes in, but the West is massing its great hosts as well. Moving against the newly declared King of the Seven Kingdoms, King Brynden and Lord Jaymes's men leave strong coastal garrisons while preparing for total war.
Word from the Iron Islands arrives in whispers, rumors of some new terror King Euric Greyjoy and his reavers have assembled. The Iron Fleet is rumored to have more ships than men to man it, and the grey king has never been the most kind or patient man.
In the Reach, a host assembles at Highgarden, while the Faith Militant and a truly massive force marches northeast towards King's Landing, moving steadily up the Roseroad. Skirmishes are already being waged from Starfall to Bitterbridge along the east borders, and Silverhill and Oakheart in the West.
Finally, in Dorne and the Stormlands, Princess Nalya Martell dies in prison of completely explainable and not at all murder-related causes. The Vulture King, Ser Jonarth of the Roost, has declared war on Bryce Dayne and Rycherd Tyrell both, his men waging guerilla war throughout the Marches. King Bryce is moving men up from Dorne and assembling a mighty force at Storm's End, which is due to move north itself to finish off the beaten Baratheon dynasty. Word also states that his allies from the Free Cities or beyond have also claimed the Stepstones save Ferrous Keep, and sail towards Dragonstone, where only a partially manned fragment of the Royal fleet resides.
