The call for the bedding begins. Delila and Brynden are trundled off first to cheers and squeals.

"Because of the followers that make it so." Dud simply replies. "A families strength and wealth comes from not just themselves, but all those that help them keep it." Dud gets some fancy wine from a server and keeps one for himself while handing a goblet to Ella. "Not too long ago, being born with the name Grafton would have afforded you such a life, but now it may be worse than not having one." Jenny frowned deeper, staring at the lavish food and drink all over the place, watching the four married people and all of their gifts. "I don't even feel like drinking or eating anything, just because of where it came from." She sighed. "Grafton, they are a Vale house? Back home we don't really get much news."

Joanna watched the nobles gathering round King Brynden and Delila for a while, then leaned over to whisper something in Prince Benjen's ear.

He placed a hand upon his chin, stroking his beard as if considering the manner, leaning further into the woman's sizable endowments. "Now you have taken all the fun out of the notion." he remarked with a wry smile. "Have I? Well, she did fight in the North and most recently in a highly secret mission, but I suppose if you're not man enough..." Amelia pouted, taking a step back from the Prince. "Some other man will have to marry her."

When the bedding was announced and Joanna spoke quietly to Benjen he nodded. He said a few words and while he was bundled off and made bereft of his clothes, Joanna was treated more gently and was delivered upon the chamber still in her dress.

This decision is unpopular among the drunken guests.

Have you heard of Gulltown?" Dud forgets at times that Ella was just a small folk from the tumblestone. "He rebelled against Prince Benjen. He is no longer in power, I fought for Prince Benjen during the attack. A prime example of those who follow grant the power, Prince Benjen had the stronger followers." Dud gives a few cheers as the bedding ceremony takes place. More so when Benjen is carted off.

"It is not likely that is her decision to make." Killion replied, though straightened his wrinkled outfit with a sigh. These greenlanders had to complicate the simplest of pleasures. "Very well, but I am far from done with you yet this day." The ironborn reached over and gave her rump a squeeze, then took another gulp of rum before making his way across the hall towards the northern princess.
With each step closer to the high table he expected some northern guardsman, or brother, or father to draw steel and charge him. He was almost disappointed when he reached the young woman without incident. As the call for the bedding began he sidled up beside her.
"It warms the heart to see that it only takes half the drink in the realm for you northerners to start having fun." he remarked dryly, has the half clothed couple was hoisted away. "Well...most of you." he noted at the prince and princess' more chaste display.

"I doubt there is enough wine in all the realms." She raised an eyes to the ceiling as she replied, perhaps seeking devine intervention from the old gods. "This wedding is hardly meant to be a jovial affair, whoever you are..." She said, not bothering to ask for the mans name, she had developed into a darker level of drunk now, where she was beginning to get argumentative and unfriendly, "Who are you?"

Jenny suggested, though she doubted Dud would have fought for him if it had been so. "I can only guess Lord Grafton is dead, yes?"

Used to having hands on her ass, Amelia ignored the gesture and looked around to see if Nicholas Snow was still present.

Nick is walking to the main exit with Ellaria Dayne. They seem to be arguing quietly while they walk.

"No, but perhaps combined with spirits, something can be salvaged of this dour affair." he offered her his exotic rum, wondering how he had been talked into abandoning one buxom and willing for this ray of sunshine. "I am Prince Killion Greyjoy of the Iron Islands."

Dud said with a shrug. "I've only just joined Prince Benjen's side, but for what I've seen he is a good man and ruler." Dud finishes his wine. "Yes, he passed on after the battle." Dud decided not to mention the hanging
