Character's Personal History:
Robyn was born the youngest daughter of King Terrence Stark. A wild child from the get go, she rejected conventional feminine virtues for most of her childhood, preferring instead to be much more active. Her father neither encouraged or discouraged the behaviour, thinking that it would pass until it was too late. By the time it came to try and take her in hand to train her to be a proper lady who sings and sews, she had already set her mind against it, and had her families stubbornness to not allow it to be changed. Her father decided that if she insisted on learning martial skills, she had best learn to do it well at least, and allowed for her to receive private tuition, so as not to take the Master-at-Arms attention away from the boys, still hoping that the hard life of learning to fight would deter her and that she would choose the less physically demanding road, such as her other sisters.
This was not the case, and under one to one tuition flourished into a very capable bowman, outmatching most of the boys in this even if her swordplay was lacking. It was in her mind that if foes could never get to her, as she would shoot them dead, that she had little to fear from swords. The lie kept niggling fears away at least. It was at this time, Robyn seemed to begin to dream. She had never remembered her dreams before now, it had always seemed like she had just closed her eyes for a while and then opened them. When she started learning martial skills, she finally began dreaming. The first time she got scared and had to run to her father that she was seeing visions in her sleep. He assured her it was normal.
Because of being small for her age for most of her life, Robyn's training consisted of agility and dodging, making quick strikes with smaller blades rather than having to heft great big swords she had no chance of wielding. This made her very fleet footed and more importantly, quiet.
As she improved in physical skill, her dreams got a lot clearer, sometimes she dreamt of the past, in her life, sometimes she dreamt of things far away... they were just dreams though... sometimes she dreamt she was a wolf, running free or a bird soaring high. It is what made her long for independence.
As she got older, she did develop a more feminine side, getting more into fashion as her mothers health deteriorated, and she wanted to make the Queen happy by being more like the daughter she wanted, than as another son, and so soon started wearing pretty dresses to feasts instead of leathers and trousers. The damage to her reputation had been somewhat done, as people spoke in whispers when she passed about the odd daughter of the King. As such, people often called her princess mockingly, and as such, she hates the title.
Due to her sisters being far more desirable matches for marriage, Robyn never bothered to learn about keeping a castle, and what not, as she assumed no one would ever want to marry her. That was not to say that she did not read though, and spent a long time in the libraries of the castles she visited, and developed a knack for other unsavoury skills also.
In recent times, she has been helping her brother, with whom she is close try and sure up the western shores from raiders. This is all with the disapproval of most of her family, but with a knack of finding a way to do what she wants anyway, it is been discovered it is just easier to let her go.
Character's Physical Description:
Robyn Stark was a plain, tiny thing when she was growing up, and it was never thought that she would turn out to be a great beauty. That changed though when she reached womanhood as she very much grew into her looks. They are there, if you can peel away the dirt and grime from travelling rough with soldier and scouts. She scrubs up very nicely, when the occasion calls for it. She is about as far away from being what most people think of a princess as being as possible, so it always surprises people when she actually looks like one.
Character's Reputation:
Known to be a bit of a wild card, Robyn is known in the north to be very independent and self sufficient and neither likes people telling her what to do, or how she should act. Though follows orders well when she needs to.
Special abilities:
Assassinate: If Robyn makes two consecutive conceal, disguise, or sneak rolls against a single target (scenario dependent, minimum roll 125 each), her first round of attacks is at +25. If Robin and an ally engage the same target, she backstabs at +5 to melee rolls.
Impeccable Skill: acrobatic and dexterous and well trained by the North's greatest warriors, Robyn imposes -15 to ranged attacks against her, and avoids the first 25 damage she suffers in any fight (total per day) due to her ability to evade blows.
Arrow Storm: Robyn can fire two arrows at once at different targets. Each individual roll is at -15. She may not use both rolls on one target. This ability works twice a day.
Legendary (Sword)Grand Finale!: Anytime Robyn kills an opponent or knocks them out of the fight by other means (aka yielding or unconscious from unarmed), she refreshes 10 points on impeccable skill and rolls at +5 the next round of combat. If she kills someone in round 1 while using the stealth bonus from assassinate she may apply the bonus to her next round provided the next enemy is within 10 feet.
