"No idea," Nick said. Kalvin patted her on the back.
"Savinia then Bryce. I'll be back soon."

"Where are you going?" She asked, him turning sharply to look at him,

"I have the North to reclaim," he said. "If I don't our army will fall apart before our eyes."

"I told you, I will come with you," She said, walking after him, grabbing onto his arm, "To help you reclaim it,"

Kalvin looks at her hand on his arm and nods. "All right then. Aaron you're in charge here. Take any men left and chase that madman south. Benjen should link up with you eventually."

Robyn looked back at Nick, "Are you coming with us? Or are you going elsewhere?" she asked him, letting go of Kal's arm.

"I think you are in good hands with him," Nick said. "I think I can be more help to Benjen. That sorcerer is terribly strong."

Robyn hugged him close, "stay safe, if you can. Don't do anything silly." She said in his ear, Then ran back off after Kal, ready to go on a suicide mission to the north.

Thirteen thousand men follow them north. Kalvin' spent up rage is so evident you can nearly feel the steam coming off of him. "This is going to get bloody," he said, "we show no mercy."

"I didn't come her on a whim" She assured him, at least the north would be warmer this time, with Kal generating enough heat to keep the whole army nice and toasty.
"The North is still the land of my father, and it is being invaded, you do not need to worry about me being benign, I'll shoot every wildling I see through their hearts."

"I know you will; you're my favorite for a reason," Kalvin said. "Bloody damned waste of time."

"Waste of everything. Time. Men. Trust." she commented, nodding at the favourite comment, at least someone close to her thought she was worth anything at all. She thought of her mother, but pushed the thought down, it was a waste of self pity too.
"How many do the Wildlings number?"

"Not a damned clue," he admitted, "but this is what we have to fight them. I assume they can't form into one force for very long; they lack a supply train." He rubs his stubble. "But if they have Giants it would even it up a lot for them regardless of numbers."

"Have you ever seen one before?" She asked, looking at him, "a giant?"

"No," he said. "Can't say I ever had a desire too. Always thought Lord Rickon exaggerated." The army makes camp on the Kingsroad. He sets up his smaller tent, not for maps or such but just for sleep. "Never had any desire to see one. You, now," he laughed. "You see giants everywhere you go."
