Harwyn gave them directions to the inn, emphasizing his point at each opportunity to explain how much he was not going to be accompanying them.

Uhtred feels like he has to say something though "Benjen... you remember the Isle of Faces. These beings, they wish for something similar, for their species to propagate here and feed them our blood. To draw their Dark God from behind the tapestry of stars and bind it to this place, to this reality. We say Fuck Myr because quite simply, unless you have a means to destroy them, you should not talk to them. It would only help them."

Dud released a silent sigh listening to everything going on. He wouldn't tell the Prince what to do. He certainly would be going to the tavern if Benjen was. Dud shrugged in his own head. At least they weren't dragons

Benjen had been ready to set off once the way had been told but when Uhtred spoke up he paused. Even Amelia was giving him a warning look.
"Gods damn it, fine." His hand went through his hair again. "I'll let the two of you go, but tell me... did you summon that thing that you brought here?"

Uhtred grimaced and ran his hand through his hair "You can lay that at the dragons feet Prince. They tried at Yeen, then Myr. Bloody idiots all of them. Getting desperate with that emperor flying around, heh, he even has those things in a buzz." He stops, then addresses Amelia "Oi. Where's the masked one? Much as I hate to say it, we might need that man. Maybe he knows how to rid ourselves of these things."

Benjen simply grunted, evidently thinking about something. Amelia smiled and shook her head.
"Oriax went north, beyond the Wall to look for sap," She stated. "Or so he said. He has since disappeared and no one has heard from him. The only magical help we have right now is... well, me." She grinned.

Harwyn eyed Amelia for a moment, then shrugged. "You people have fun with that. We've got a meeting with ladies in the Summer Islands." With that, Harwyn turned and eyed the guards, shouldering through them.

"I've changed my mind," Benjen said, raising his hand. "Men, take these two prisoner. If the black cells are still usable then detain them in there. If they fight, kill them."

He hears a dozen crossbows cocking. The city is depopulated so he usual strategy of hidining among the crowd is ismply not an option. Clear streets and Benjen's personal guard being northmen with an inborn hatred of Ironborn mean the ptince's orders will be interpreted as liberally as possible.

Uhtred sweats and follows, pushing past the man with the eyepatch, as he was obviously the weakest of the herd. He'll break into the burned buildings, trusting the broken terrain to be unfit for horses. He will make for the docks, figuring he could hide away on one of the merchant ship they had been passengers on. That damn merchant might leave before he could retrieve the book.
"Dammit Benjen, we tried to warn you!" He yells as he runs

Harwyn didn't survive two demons to be killed by northmen who sit when they piss.
Harwyn stops.
