"Your poor sheets," Ami said, taking the dagger and pressing it against the girl's throat, before cutting through it. "I am sure the sailors will enjoy watching you throw her over board."

"Disposal of lesson materials sounds like a duty for an apprentice." he replied, with no trace of humor. "You must earn your keep somehow."

"You think I have the strength to carry that girl?" Ami asked, raising an eyebrow. "No no, I shall find someone able enough to do it for me."

"Best get to it then." Oriax replied dismissively. He left unsaid that he thought the physical activity might help lighten her grotesque weight. Such was his pleasant surprise at their first lesson.

It was getting hotter as they proceeded more and more south. It felt good to be going somewhere warm for once. Uhtred stood on the poop deck, upper torso bare instead of the usual chain vest. He slowly coiled rope, feeling the warm sun beat down on his skin.

The sun... She stepped out onto the deck, her eyes were squinty as she looked about the ship. Crewmembers working, some with shirts, some without.
Raven held her chart drawing rolled up in her hand as she walked to a nearby rail. The motion of this ship wasn't as bad as the last, maybe it had to do with the size. Her eyes looked at the water, she had never seen this. The sunlight beaming on the water making it look almost as if it was made of glass. The warmth of the sun on her skin. She liked this, but then she heard Jory's words again calling her child and how the world outside of home would not be as she thinks it will.
Black bird then took in a breath, tasting the sea air and continued to watch the waves.

Amelia grinned and wet above deck, looking around for the strongest sailor she could find.

Jory looked at The Plump Northern Girl from his position on the deck. "Looking for someone?" He sniffed. "You smell like blood."

Raven heard Jory's voice and turned to see the girl standing on the deck. He was right even against the seabreeze of the water, she could smell it too. At that moment, Raven realized that she was not the only woman on board the Dark Dawn.

"Yes, but not you," Ami said with a pleasant enough smile, before continuing her search.

////////////////////////// The Dawn is now moored at the docks of king landing, the crew dismissed allowing them to spend their hard earned gold.

Oriax disembarked with Amelia by his side, not overenthusiastic about having to return to this stinkhole.
"Find out what we need to know and report back." he said to her.

Ami wore a clingy and revealing dress of gold, corseted, and a lavish fur cloak over it. "Won't be long," She sang, giving Oriax a small wave as she walked off towards the Red Keep.

///////// "Lead on, then!" Arania said excitedly as they walked along arm in arm. Amelia came smiling to the ship, leading Arania. "So how have you been anyway? It's been so long and we never really got the chance to properly catch up!"

"I've been well enough. Things are so much more uneventful on this continent. I think I am getting used to a slower paced life...not sure if I am happy about that, though." She surveyed the deck of the ship, casting her eyes up to where the sails were furled. "I have missed the bustle of the city. Not the stink, though."
