He frowned slightly, then shook his head. "I.. don't know why I said that. I was thinking of Winterfell, not Harrenhall. My apologies." He shakes his head again, then lets out a quiet laugh. "I was never very good with these things. I suppose it comes from being a farm boy without much."

the Crowl nods slightly, not really believing the man. "It is fine, I am sure who ever taught you had only the best intentions towards you." He states.

He laughed at himself again before letting out a sigh. "My apologies. Perhaps I need rest more than I thought."

"Perhaps, rest and relaxation would do us all a bit of good." Karyl states.

He nodded, turning to leave. "I'll leave you to it, then. We should spar a week from now, depending on how things go. Sound good?"

"We will see." He says walking to the door with the man. "We might be in the middle of helping rebuild the city."

"Aye, though I don't imagine either of us joined as builders. Our use may be coming to an end, what with Cassadar dead now, and the damned witch missing." He stops outside of the door, looking back to Crowl.

"Even if you signed on as a fighter, you are an able bodied man who is capable of lifting pieces of wood and using a hammer." Karyl points out. "With those in mind, you will probably be needed to help rebuild."

He shrugged slightly, but agreed. "Probably, but I'd be better suited fixing and replanting the fields."

"Well, what ever it is I am sure we will find a job for you to do." The Crowl says, "Now better that we get some rest."

He nodded and left, wondering about his future now that the army seemed to be stopped. He fell asleep quickly after he reached his room.

Benjen nodded to Catherine, before seeing the sorceror. "You," He said, opening the door to let Catherine in. "It was fortunate we had you with us to fight Meraxes." Oriax glances at the princess and newborn, before turning his gaze to the man before him. "There was nothing fortunate about what took place on that island." he replied. "I've come for a look at that tome you found."

"Sure," Benjen said, leaning into his room and finding the book on a nearby table. He handed it over to Oriax. "I don't understand most of what I've read, which isn't much either. Enjoy."

"Never stand when you can relax on a bed with a beautiful woman," he says. "My lord grandfather is a wise man." While she fumbles at the laces, he takes her sword and looks down its edge, testing it with his finger. He spins it about in his hand and checks the balance. "Not bad, for a beginner's weapon," he says. He licks his lips as Arania's bodice loosens. She slipped her arms from her sleeves and let the top half of her gown fall away, baring her body to the waist. She reached out to take the sword from him. "It had better be a good one, it's what the guards were using to protect us ladies. Though I guess swords aren't much good against magic."

Oriax took a seat uninvited in a nearby chair and began to skim through the book for useful information. He would study it more extensively later.
"Not surprising." he remarked, not taking his eyes from the pages. "So who was that man we slew, Prince Benjen. I did not have the privilege of meeting him before our battle."
