Character's Personal History:
Quentyn is the great-grandson of Dagmer Cleftjaw, a famed warrior and favored adviser to King Theon in the earlier part of his reign. For loyal service, Dagmer was granted a stretch of coast along the Flint Cliffs. Here he built a modest holdfast near a break in the cliffs, where a small fishing and trading village has sprung up. The keep has come to be known as The Cleft.
As for Quentyn himself, he has only recently come into the lordship, following the passing of his father from a bout of illness earlier in the year. Well-educated in the arts of the Ironborn (Sailing, fighting, reaving, et al), he has led several successful raids, both by ship in the Summer Islands and by horse across the border in the North. Popular and easygoing amongst the warriors, he has had to work to not be so familiar with the common folk now that he is lord.
Character's Physical Description:
Of average height and fairly thickly built. Dark hair, worn long, but clean-shaven. Continues a custom his father's generation began, whereby all Cleftjaw men tattoo a red line running from above their top lip to their chin, in honor of their ancestor.
Character's Reputation:
Outside of Cape Kraken and its environs, Quentyn is not well-known.
