The guards operate in pairs, but if they are willing to risk a short fight they can attempt to rouse someone's attention and try killing them. The sounds of the dungeon are eery in the echoes and one can nearly smell the fear-sweat of the hundreds who could be imprisoned here.

Kyle was rather an in for a groat, in for a dragon, kind of a guy, so when it became obvious that a pair of guards were coming closer, he shut the door with a thud, hoping they would follow them into the room.
He motioned to Arthur that he should wait behind the door, so that they could surprise them.

The guards enter the room and the party is on. They have swords and chain mail.

Kyle shouted a battle cry in his head, as it would be unwise to yell it, and went at. Expecting he would likely die.

Arthur nodded in agreement and pulled out his dagger, drawing it over his throat in a gesture to suggest slitting the guards' throats, as that seemed the most.. silent and effective way. If he was to pull it off, he meant to push the guard to the ground immediately so as not to let the pig bleed on his clothing as much.

Round 1:
Kyle: 139 Arthur: 114 Guard: 63
The guard dies nearly immediately before the surprise attack. +1 to both. The echoing cries of the prisoners seems to have muffled the attention paid to any othe rnoises made by the rest of the guardsmen.

Dignity is in short order around the naked man pile, but Kyle ends up looking like a very unhygienic member of the Faith Militant.

Having made sure no one else came to their rescue, Arthur followed the other westerman's lead. He looked to the bodies. "What d'you reckon we should do with them? Dump them in the latrines?" he asked Kyle.

Kyle thinks that he looks like a regular member of the faith militant, and whispers "burn" under his breath.
He seems to come back to himself when Arthur speaks to him, "Do you think they'd fit? What if we need to return this way... No let's put them in." He rather wanted coming back that way to be an impossibility.

Without further ado, Arthur heaved one of them up and threw him into the latrine, making sure he was positioned so it wouldn't be obviously visible when you walked into the.. room.

Kyle threw in the other one, and shut the lids, hopefully completing the illusion that no one dead was in there.
"Shall we?" He asked, walking to the door, and peering out, "When would the best time be?"

Arthur stepped into the hallway with a newfound confidence of someone seen fit enough to guard the restricted area of Summerhall. As usual, he kept his eyes and ears open for any openings and things worth investigating.

They see no one in the halls at the moment. The hall runs a hundred feet in the one direction before coming to a T-intersection.
