"You look tired," Ami commented as she cleared the rest of the ingredients away. "I have to say, sleep came hard to me too. That damn stuff you made kept me up with some... silly thoughts." She laughed.

"Silly thoughts about what?" He appeared to be mixing some concoction of his own; when he lifts the lid to add something, it smells absolutely awful.

"Urgh!" Ami says, almost throwing up. "Oh, the type a love potion might bring upon. Loins aching and so on," She gave him a wry grin. "So what exactly is that disgusting stuff you just made?"

"Well, at least we know it works, right? Who was the object of your affection, I wonder?"pours a small batch into a glass tube. "This, now, this is a very special potion for a very special purpose. It's meant for when my brother makes his inevitable reappearance."

"I don't know. Whenever he decides to wipe us all out with that giant dragon." He looks at her. "Well, in theory it should dull the effects of his abilities. Any of them, really. I'm not their most welcome partner anymore."

"And how will you get him to drink it?" Ami wondered out loud, studying the potion and trying to see if she could recognize via smell any of the contents, while also looking around for what he had used. "Maybe I could be of assistance?"

"I don't think you need to get any closer to him. And it isn't transmitted via ingestion. simple contact will suffice...I hope." Faeron frowns. "He's already too powerful as it is."

"So you'll get someone to throw it on him?" Ami asked, raising an eyebrow. "How inelegant. Well, if you decide you need some help with it then let me know."

"I'll be sure to. I was rather thinking of smearing arrowheads with it and delivering them that way. I just wish I knew if it worked..." He turns to her. "Now, what do you want to learn today?"

"What else can you teach me?" Ami countered. "Though if you need a test subject for... this new concoction I'd be willing to find someone who it might work on."

"Very generous of you. I can teach you quite a bit; this brain isn't empty of knowledge yet," he chuckles. "Though your ambition seems to be."

"How can I know what you teach when I know nothing of it?" Amelia countered, picking up a dried leaf and twirling it about. "No suggestions?"

"My suggestion is that you show some initiative. Show some curiosity," he counters to her counter. "You're supposed to be my apprentice, not my slave."

Amelia sat back, crossing her legs. "Show me how to kill someone without a weapon." She challenged.
