In the mountains of the Vale, Prince Benjen Stark's host intercepts four clans of the tribes. Uniquely in this battle the armies are at best loosely linked; as are the tribes, so in many ways this will be rolled as three separate fights taking place over a spread of mountains two miles long and a mile deep.

Round 1:
Prince Benjen VS the Falcon
Prince Benjen (+20): 104/186 Karyl: 176 Titus: 180 (100 rolled) Durand: 111
Falcon (+5): 114/162 Lion: 93 (-35), in battle with Titus Grafton Burned Man: 123 Iron Head: 148
The battle starts out well for the Northmen, as Benjen's natural ability to lead men is again shown on the battlefield, his disciplined troops cutting a swathe through the tribesmen. Karyl Crowl is terrifying, his spiked fists leaving men bloody messes about him, his plate impervious to the lesser troops' shoddy weapons, and he plunges headlong into the fray with a zeal usually only embraced by religious zealots.
It is Ser Titus who has the hour, though; cutting quickly through the enemy lines to find one of the four chieftains, who charges him. He bats the sword aside and deals out a harsh blow.
North: 3650 Men Clans: 3950

Round 2:
Karyl Crowl (+20): 125/173 Titus: 136 Durand: 131 Benjen: 127
Lion: 111 (-45)/97 Burned Man: 140 Iron Head: 131 Falcon: 106
Karyl Crowl's turn now, as the north flank of the northern army pushes to the borders of a lake fed by four rivers, the clansmen fleeing onto it. Ser Titus chases the fleeing commander, and like hell is he letting something like water stop him. He finds some lakeworthy vessels and orders his men to clamber onto them and row.
On the main field of battle, the enemy are pushed back further, the Crowl's ferocity enough almost by itself to throw them backwards into disarray.
North: 3525 men Clans: 3600 men

Round 3:
Titus: 144/139 Durand: 165 Benjen: 172 Krowl: 172
Burned Man: 95 (-70)/90 Iron Head: 110 Falcon: 121 Lion: 174
Ser Titus and his crew of merry boatmen sink the two fleeing vessels, then he says to hell with it and lands slightly behind the stiffening clansmens' lines, still chasing down his new friend. The main battlefield is characterized by the complete collapse of the dying Lion's line, threatening the whole clan plan of battle.
North: 3425 Men Clans: 3400

Round 4:
Durand: 147/159 Benjen: 113 Karyl: 118 Titus: 137
Iron Head: 119/91 Falcon: 169 Lion: 28 (dead) Burned Man: 112
Titus finally makes his friend no longer living, and Durand Coldwater's generalship is on full display, as the disparate army converges on the now-leaderless left gflank. The tribes disintegrate and split, fleeing into the hills.
Rally: 92 Routing (Durand): 151
Three rounds of attacks.
153/149/112 vs 129/113/134
The clan army virtually ceases to exist after the routing concludes, and over two thousand prisoners are taken.
Final:
North: 3250 men, 200 dead, 350 wounded, 3600 total Clans: 1100 men, 900 dead, 2100 captured
