"Oh. I'm not one to judge. Are you going to marry him?"

"Yes, when we get back. Apparently everything has been arranged already. Will you and Dustin have a proper wedding, back in Westeros? And settle down in Barrowton?"

"I don't know," Reyna sighed. "My father refused his consent for us to marry in the way of our people. I desire the blessing of the Drowned God but I may have to forget my people. I don't want to declare the marriage invalid and forget Dustin."

"You don't seem like any of the Ironborn I have ever met." Arania had only met one or two, the Limper being foremost in her mind. "I think you're better off on the mainland. I'm sure it will be hard to leave your family and people behind...but I am sure you will be the better for it in the end."

"Perhaps. I'm not really close to any of them now," Reyna sighed. "It's so sad. I want the courtly life though. So it's a bit strange I found a Northman. But we can't help who we fall in love with, can we?"

"No, we can't. Winterfell is sort of the opposite of where I grew up. Cold, isolated...no big cities in the north, or libraries." She smirked. "It is funny how these things work, isn't it?"

"Yes. But you know, we would both be strangers in a new land. Perhaps I could get Fyodor to let us live at Winterfell for a while, so we could get used to it together?" Reyna suggested. "I hear Winterfell is beautiful and it has a long history. I am sure you could learn to love it."

"Perhaps. It would be nice to have a friend who understands the adjustments. I'd like to travel more, when I'm married. Go all around Westeros and see all the wonders, like the Wall..." She frowned. "Of course, the only problem with that is that once you're married, then the babies come."

Reyna shrugged.
"Well...there are ways to handle that, or so I'm told. We are not salt wives, after all. I don't know Kalvin too well but I don't suppose he'd want you to be with child constantly. So I think you could travel a bit at a time."

"I can just hardly imagine having children. Its still strange having a lover." She shook her head. "I'm sure it will all turn out alright in the end." She wasn't sure, at all, but it seemed the thing to say.

//// Early one morning, Silas takes a trip to the market, knowing the best way to get a pulse on a region was by mingling with its populace.

She wasn't sure, at all, but it seemed the thing to say. "Of course it will," Reyna said brightly. "But I know what you mean. Marriage and children always seemed so far in the future. But it comes to most women, anyway. And I believe we'll know what to do when the time is right."

Silas encounters, what is fair to say, pandemonium. The streets are crowded and loud, bickering is heard everywhere, and he sees vendors from Lannisport to Asshai hawking wares. One in particular offers votives and small statues of the Faith.

Well met, Reyna."

"And to you too," Reyna said to Arania. "I find it's so much harder to be an ambassador here, where there are so many customs I don't know. It's strange, isn't it?"
