Arania looked up from the books she was examining (not that she could read half on them, anyway) when she heard her name. She looked up, scared at first, though she smiled when she saw it was the lady ambassador from the tourney. "Oh, hello! Reyna Harlaw, was it?" The book vendor looked vaguely annoyed as Arania abandoned the books she was looking at and went to talk to her fellow Westerosi instead.

"Yes. I hope I'm not disturbing you? I would hate to do that," Reyna said sincerely.

"Not at all!" She shook her head. "How are you finding Meereen so far?"

"It's quite pleasant," Reyna admitted.
She smiled somewhat secretively.
"I am just out shopping for some new dresses. I want to look my best when I meet the dragons again. Have you done anything exciting since you got here?"

Arania kept the smile on her face. "Yes, many interesting things. I went to the Temple of the Graces, recently. It is very beautiful there." She looked at the silks, so fine of texture and in so many colors. "I could use one or two as well."

"Oh. Let's help each other then," Reyna suggested. "What colours do yo"u like? You could tell me about the Graces as well, if you want. I don't know about them.

Arania shrugged. "Blue, violet, burgundy; something rich and not too bright. What do you like? The temple is beautiful, with the golden domes and a huge flower garden. Imagine, in the middle of the desert!" She smiled wistfully. "I didn't see the Graces, though. My guide had other plans."

"Oh. That's a shame. I should like to see the temple," Reyna said.
She paused and looked at the silks.
"I like bright colour, like jewel shades. The women in the islands wear dresses of such dull stuff, so I don't want to be like them."
She fingered a sapphire blue silk.
"How about this one?"

"I want to go back some time. Perhaps you could come along?" She looked down at the one Reyna had chosen. "Its very pretty...and with a bit of silver Myrish lace for sleeves it would be a proper sight." She grinned. "And for you, something golden...I do think gold and white would suit you well."

"I'd like to come with you," Reyna agreed.
She smiled as she looked at a golden silk.
"Yes, it's very pretty. Very...bright and eyecatching. I like it. And how about..."
She held up a semi-transparent fabric in a deep red.
"Would that be too daring?"

"Perhaps a bit, though I have seen local women dressed in something similar. Perhaps for bed, if you think it would be too eyecatching. I am sure it would be appreciated by Dus..." She blushed, stopping herself. "Sorry."

Reyna winced.
"You know? About...?"
She hesitated, also blushing a bit, but smiling in that secretive way again.

Arania grinned. "I think Kalvin may have let it slip." She squeezed Reyna's hand impulsively. "I don't think my position is much better than yours, in that regard. But still, congratulations."

"Thank you."
She stopped blushing and looked intently at Arania.
"So what is your position then? You and...Kalvin, mayhaps?"

Arania smiled a little, shyly. "You'd be correct. But its not so much of a secret. We've been sharing a bed since we left Westeros."
