Appearance: He stands at a looming 6'7", weighing 235 with dark brown hair, green eyes, and several scars covering his body, the most prominent being a cut on his left cheek from chin to cheek bone beneath his left eye. Tanned and quiet, Jason has changed much since his time in the North, losing a fair bit of weight due to the increased activity of guerrilla raiding.
History: Jason Ice was born the bastard son of a bandit in the midlands of Westeros in the back of a carriage, after the caravan had been raided by the clansmen and his mother raped. Working to help his mother, who was widowed during the same raid, around the farm she owned since he was seven, he quickly became known by the local farmers as a good kid who would do anything to help the ones he cared for, but also with quite the temper. He continued to work with his mother until she passed away when he was 23 and took over the farm, having been training with swords after a visiting knight had sought aid after being attacked by local wolves, but had died shortly after he arrived, leaving Jason his gear. He sold the farm later that year, having stayed for no reason other to help his mother, and traveled the lands as a bounty hunter for any town that couldn't do it themselves, earning the title 'Bandit's Bane', given to him by several villagers after he single handedly raided and destroyed a nearby camp that had been ambushing supply carts. When he was 29, he began to be formally trained by a retired knight after he helped a southern town with their bandit problem, and quickly honed his skills with both one- and two-handed swords, as well as shield work, and armored combat.
In the time since signing on with the army of Benjen Stark, Jason had honed his skills and improved his reputation more than he could have ever hoped for in such a short time, but within a few months of their return to Eddard's Rest, Jason knew his time was no longer with the men of the north. News eventually reached him of the events of the Vale, and with a respectable departure, Jason made his way south to aid Lord Corbray. Since his arrival in the Vale, Jason has performed a number of guerrilla-style raids with Corbray's men to take advantage of the terrain foreign to Lord Grafton's mysterious men. Now serving as an interim commander of these raids, Jason has worked tirelessly to stem the tide of men, although he's resisted the role of leadership.
