"She doesn't even tell me what her favourite colour is!" Amelia complained, finished with the pigeons and finishing off on the grilled meats and cheese. "She's a silly girl but she can use her crossbow!"

Arania just watched her eat, wondering if the girl always had this kind of appetite. She personally was just glad to finally be able to enjoy solid food again. "I am very grateful for girls with crossbows," she said, thinking of how Catherine had saved her. "Do you miss home at all? Or are you used to being away?"

"I have traveled so often that I don't really have a single place I would call home," Ami said, shrugging. "And this place is far too exciting for me to be sad!"

She felt a small stab of envy at that. "Oh...most of my travelling has been done through books." She looked down at her hands. "But yes, I am very glad to be here! I'm so glad my father consented!" She thought of the condition on which she went and wondered how Kal was faring in obtaining information.

"It was very nice of him to let you go!" Amelia agreed. "After all the things that happened I am surprised my father didn't step in to stop me." She laughed at that. "What are your favourite books then?"

She laughed. "I'll assume you mean travel books? Well, I really enjoyed the ones about Dorne. I'm sure I will never go there now, though."

"Dorne... no, though it is a beautiful place to visit," Amelia said. "Sunspear is an impressive city, though empty in the daytime. The Water Gardens are a sight too, and if you wear the right things then traversing the desert isn't too bad either." She laughed.

"I would have liked to see Dorne..." she shuddered. "But I'm much happier to see Essos...Volantis is incredible. Beyond my wildest dreams." She looked at Amelia's plate, wondering how all that food had disappeared into her. "Are you finished? Perhaps you should have waited for the feast tonight, at the palace?"

"Perhaps I should have," Ami said with a small groan, holding her tummy. "I hope I'll still fit into that dress you chose for me!" She gave a small laugh as the poured some wine into her cup. "But I agree, Volantis is an incredible sight. It can only get better the further east we go!"

"I cannot wait to see Slaver's Bay and the two great cities of the Targaryens! I wonder if Aenys will remember me...I have no wish to see either of his sisters. They were very strange indeed." She held out her cup for more wine, smiling as Amelia poured for her.

Amelia poured her friend some wine. "I am sure he will remember you; who could forget such a pretty face!" She grinned. "And what do you mean by strange? I mean... well, did you hear what happened between them and Prince Benjen?" She giggled girlishly.

"What?! Something happened?" She took a long drink from her cup. "I heard one of them talking about moon tea, when I had a meeting with Prince Aenys." She blushed, then. "You know, I always thought you and he, Prince Benjen, that is...Well, I always thought you were an item of sorts."

Ami laughed at that. "Well, we could have been... but no, it was not to be. As for the sisters," She smirked. "It seems they both took a liking to the Prince. A very... deep liking." She winked.

"I was rather taken with him, too...he had a way of quoting old texts that I found very charming," Arania admitted. "Oh, don't tell Kalvin that!" She blushed even redder. "B-both of them at once?!" It was inconceivable! Arania could barely speak.

"Prince Benjen is an interesting boy, is he not?" Ami shook her head. "I believe he may have even considered you as a wife... I shouldn't have said that, sorry!" She drank quickly. "And yes, both at once!"
