"Shall we, then? I could do with a bath, I'm sure." She tried to smile at Danya, whom she had hardly spoken to this entire time.

The Frey girl returned a silent smile, one hand continuously beneath her cloak, evidently on a dagger.
"Let's go!" Amelia agreed. "Although the thought of bathing in public... well, it is a little lewd is it not?" She giggled again.

"In public?" Arania's eyebrows shot upward. "You mean to say, everyone...together..." She exhaled slowly. "But we should accustom ourselves to these strangers' customs. At least while we are here..."

"We should, but to such an extent?" Amelia asked. "At least, that is what I have heard of the pools. Maybe the rumours are not entirely true; I have after all never visited here, simply heard much when I visited Braavos."

"You've been to Braavos, too? What was that like? I'd never left the Goldlands before Mason' Keep." She shook her head. "Do tell me! Perhaps we should find somewhere to sit and have something to eat and drink?"

"Braavos was lovely! The city is tightly packed with buildings and people, but it is simply beautiful! The temples they have there, and the arched bridges and... oh, you must see it!" She grinned and nodded at the latter comment. They quickly found an expensive looking eatery, which had many foreign foods they had never seen before.

"I would love to, one day," Arania answered as they went into the bustling restaurant. "What will we have? It smells absolutely delicious..."

"Everything here looks so good!" Amelia said. Evidently they could pick what they wanted and then pay afterwards. Ami found a plate of pigeons stuffed with peppers, assorted grilled fatty meats, some Volantene cheeses and a honeycomb pie covered in cream and berries. "Here's mine!" She said, laughing.

"Are you sure you can eat all that, Amelia?" Arania picked simpler things, and in less quantity, though that pie Amelia had looked quite delicious. They sat at a table and began to eat, drinking wine as fine as the food. "Amelia, can we afford all this? Perhaps we should be more careful with our gold!"

"I have enough on my to last for a long time," Amelia said, stuffing the meats hungrily into her mouth. "And as ambassadors I do not think we will spend too much money anyhow. So even if we run out, as long as we remain on our hosts' good side we will have all our needs cared for." She giggled and bit into a pigeon.

"Being an ambassador is very nice, I find. So far, at least." She ate more delicately, having a rather small appetite. Every bite was washed down with more of the sweet foreign wine. "What do you think of it all, Danya?"

"I don't have an opinion," Danya said from where she stood behind Amelia, who was gobbling her food down hurriedly. "At least not one I will voice." She winked.

"Whyever not? You're always so secretive. Have you something to hide, Miss Danya Frey?"

"A lot," Danya replies with a mysterious smile, as her pale blue eyes scanned the room.
"Oh, ignore Danya," Amelia said as some meat juice ran down her chin. "She never says what she's thinking. I wonder if she has something wrong with her head."

Arania shook her head and kept eating, finishing quickly, while Amelia still had a mountain of pigeon and pie to plow through. She eyed the food doubtfully. "Perhaps it is wiser to keep opinions private, if they will be unpopular." She looked up at Danya, watching her eyes dart from person to person in the room.
