The North
Malryas Bolton: A man seemingly defined by his ability to find a secret no matter how well kept, Malryas Bolton has a reputation few can touch in terms of the shadows and whispers that crawl about the kingdoms. He is also a very hands on manager, preferring to keep himself away from the Dreadfort, always finding some new piece of information to further his goals, though none have yet figured out what goals those are. (32) (Intrigue, Stealth)
Lord Richard Grafton: The ruler of Gulltown, Richard along with his counterpart, Devan Manderly, are the lifeblood of trade through the kingdom of the north. Unlike Devan's expertise over controlling pirates and war, however, Lord Richard is a man driven by money and its many uses. He owns the North's largest personal merchant fleet, and is probably wealthier than the king himself. Many wonder where his ability to serve the kingdom ends and his personal pursuit of power begins. (44) (Trade, Diplomacy) (Slain during a rebellion against the Starks, 381)
Lord Rickon Stark, The God of War:A military legend, with victories spanning five decades of strife, Lord Rickon is now past eighty and too old to take the field himself. He is, however, still a master of theoretical tactics, and his ability to govern the widespread peoples of the North is a trait that all lords would give anything to replicate. He has had the personal misfortune of outliving all of his siblings, his sister Sansa Dayne surviving the longest, to 365. King Robb died in 349, Arya Frey in 330 to a fever, and Brandon unfortunately never recovered from his fall off Winterfell, and his spine collapsed for the last time in only 304. His sense of loneliness only increased, as he has also outlived all three of his children, and now looks upon his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren alike as sons and daughters. He is the only man King Terrence has ever bowed to, on the event of his eightieth birthday. Across the kingdoms he is respected, but many are also waiting for the slayer of so many to finally go to join his parents and siblings. (83) (Governing)
The Goldlands
Meghan Lannister:A lovely young woman, known for her honey color hair and green eyes, but also as one of the most talented singers and musicians of Westeros. Her voice is said to bewitch men, her harp to hypnotize any who hear it. She is herself described by those she talks to as the Maiden herself. (Slain by Cassadar's Agents) (19) (Singing, Music Composition, Poetry, Harp)
Edward Stann: A clever and witty merchant, Edward Stann is known across borders as an honest trader, if prone in his younger days to clever forms of blackmail. Can get a job done faster, cheaper, and better than anyone. (31) (Finance)
Lyle Merryweather: An old man, and knowledgeable in the many ways to cultivate fields, Lyle is a master of agriculture, making the Reach the true breadbasket of the Five Kingdoms. The profit off trade they receive has led many to wonder just what the Goldlands are spending all that money on...(56) (Agriculture, Finance)
The Kingsland
Larrance of the Stepstones: A master trader, mostly because he has many ways of ensuring valuable cargoes never seem to be taxed. Larrance is valued highly by King Baratheon for his sound advice on matters pertaining to international relations as well. (30) (Trade, Diplomacy)
Lord Felix "Six-Finger" Florent: Named of course for his sixth digit on his left hand, Lord Felix governs King's Landing with wisdom and nobility, and has done much to clean the city up. The Gold Cloaks are now a fairly respected organization, and Flea Bottom is gradually being eroded by newer, more useful, living areas. An influx of foreign trade has launched King's Landing on par with Oldtown in terms of overall prosperity. (42) (Governing, Intrigue) (Slain by dragonfire)
The Iron Islands
Sarai Greyjoy: Quick witted and a distant cousin to the King, Sarai is little known except as a quiet, unattractive woman at Pyke. (34) (Unknown)
Dorne
Lady Hatteres Sand: Half Dornish and Half Volantene, Hatteres is Princess Nalya's closest advisor on all manners of political issues, seeming to know everything happening everywhere. Rumors persist she has some form of clairvoyance beyond natural means. (Diplomacy, Trade) (Slain by Bryce Dayne's Volantene mercenaries, 381)
