Arania was not very pleased to be ignored. "Waiting for someone, are you?" The table was getting more crowded by the minute.

"I am," Amelia replied, giving the girl a briefly glance but hoping Catherine Mallister would distract her.

Jory Stone and Jon Flowers crouched in the thick bushes a ways away from The Tavern, wearing fancy uniforms.
"This is the place." whispered Jon.
"I still don't see any reason why I should be helping you with this ridiculous plan." replied The Eagle.
"Come on. What would you rather be doing, practicing Archery? This is going to be fun. Now, my request."
Jory sighed, pulling out a bottle from his coat. "This is all I have in my stores, so don't lose it."
"And it works?"
"Like a charm. One drop in a drink, and in about a quarter hour, they'll be vomiting for at least a half day."
"Perfect." Jon grinned.
They stood up and began to stride confidently towards the door.

"Not so well; we only just got here ourselves," the one on the right says. He does an obligatory sweep with his eyes of the attractive Ironborn girl and the widowed lion, as does his friend, although his friend is a bit less courteous on the whole affair. "I'm Kal, and my rather forward friend here is Fyodor." He's not a large man, but handsome enough, with straight, even teeth and a cleft chin, along with a warrior's athletic build. "And I find it very strange I do not already know the names of two ladies as lovely as yourselves." "I'm Reyna," she said. "And my friend is Dawn. But why should you know us? This is my first visit to this place and I haven't travelled much at all." OOC - sorry, forgot this one!

Catherine smiles at Arania. "Truly sorry for the inconvenience. What are you writing? I love reading...what else is a lady on the road to do?"
A young man approaches the Lady Royce. "We have a mutual friend who says that..." he looks about, "It's time Ser Clarence paid."

Amelia studied the man, before giving the slightest of nods. "Now those are words I can agree with. Shall we talk somewhere more private?"

"Letters...to some friends of mine back home." Arania had already safely stowed the entirety of her correspondence in the writing case. "Unfortunately, I finished my book before we had passed Highgarden, so the trip was doubly arduous." She looked at Catherine pleasantly, but at the same time listened in to what the young man and the Royce girl said.

Catherine's eyes widen. "Oh, please, you could not keep me out of this, dear." She leans into Arania's personal space and whispers loudly. "Ser Clarence caused that horrid bruise on her face, the bastard."

Arania brightened. Her suspicions had been correct. "How terrible. Of course word of your...misfortune has spread like wildfire through all the camps."

Amelia sighed. "Find a seat and join us," She said to the young man, before turning to the other two. "Not a word about this to anyone, understood?"

Catherine makes a perfectly innocent star over her heart. The young man sits down. "So we found out right that Ser Clarence has a whore he frequents... pardon the language, my ladies, and some of us owe him for our own score...he burned our village and forced us into work for our...mutual friend, for coin. we were gonna go pay him a little visit, thought you might like to come along."

"Of course, my lips are sealed," she said, not promising anything about what she would say in writing. She listened intently. How fascinating; a secret revenge plot. But the Royce girl's face looked so terrible, of course the blackguard deserved whatever he got.

"A little visit... yes," Amelia said, mulling on those words, her hand moving to lightly brush across her bruise. "How many of you? And what have you planned? I will not have the man murdered, if you suggest that."

"We'd be quartered for that, m'lady. Common folk can't slay knights and all. We was thinking more like messing up that pretty face a his."

Amelia gave a short laugh at that. "Not much worse you can make that mug of his," She commented, sipping her wine. "What of that whore you mentioned?"
