Joanna, accompanied by two of her whitecloaks, had remained expressionless throughout the duel, her gaze following the fallen Ironlander as they dragged him out of the scene. She'd of course been thankful, had she known of Arthur's intentions.
She then had her guards start making the way out for her before crowd had started dispersing.

Arthur finally spied the Queen making her exit and followed her quickly, dodging people in the slowly dwindling crowd.
"Your Grace." he called as he caught up to her. "Is it your intention to leave Eddard's Rest? If so, I ask for your permission to collect my wife and accompany you to the safety of the Goldlands."

Joanna let him fall into step beside her. "Lord Arthur," she greeted. "I do believe I won't be staying for the wedding, yes," she said, and nodded. "I would appreciate the company."

Arthur nodded grimly. "Events develop quickly Your Grace. We must not let them overwhelm us. I will collect my lady wife now and seek to leave at once, if that is your wish."

"That they do. It will have to be at first light tomorrow," she said. "I have to discuss a few things with the Starks before leaving, and send a couple of ravens. One to your good friend Lord Vikary, in fact."

Arthur nodded. "We shall be ready Your Grace. Until then." He gave a short bow and immediately went in search of his wife.
