The guards are a bit confused until she identifies herself, then they finally allow her into the manse. A bearded man, in his middle thirties, greets her. "Lady Lisenya," he said, his goatee only faintly tinged with grey, "I am Vicenzo Delasange," he said. "My daughter shall be home presently. May I help you pass the time with a glass of riesling? Or any sort of wine you prefer?"

"Riesling will be fine, thank you," Lisenya said, after giving her perfect curtsy again. "A beautiful home you have here. I used to spend a fair amount of time in the Banker's District when I still worked in Braavos and I was always impressed by this house."

He smiled. "It took long enough to build," he said. "You work for King Benjen, now, then?" he asked. "I never met him," he admitted, "but I met that cousin of his. Kalvin. When he lived here. I visited Winterfell about...fifteen years ago. Lovely place excepting the weather."

"I was unaware that Lord Kalvin lived in Braavos," Lisenya was forced to admit. "He is a very hotheaded man, though reliable I believe. And yes, I do work for King Benjen, though he hasn't needed me to do much of late. Peaceful times require little diplomacy after all." She smiled.

"I've found peace is harder than war," he said. "Peace leaves one with uncertain friends and quarreling enemies. Or vice versa." As he goes to continue, the door opens and a lovely young woman walks in. "Father," she said, hugging the man, he long black hair falling to her hips. "We have a guest? How fun!" She smiles and curtsies. "I'm Giulia. Pleasure."

Lisenya curtsies as well, a pleasant smile on her face. "Lisenya Delayis - I am one of King Benjen Stark's ambassadors. I have been complimenting your father on his lovely home."
She studied the woman with a quick trained glance. "The Sealord told me that you were quite a wonderful girl and it seems he was right."

She frowns just a touch at that. "Did he? Well," she said, "that was...nice of him." She formed another smile. "You know him well then? King Benjen? It will be nice to leave Braavos for a tourney. Braavos only has fencing duels."

"They tourneys in Westeros are far more exciting," Lisenya admitted. "Though I wouldn't like to be one of those big idiots who gets himself knocked from a horse with a lance. Even the melee lacks the finesse and artistry of the Waterdance."

"Finesse and artistry win dances and seduction," Guilia said, "Never heard of either winning wars. Isn't that the point of their tourneys? They like to fight." She rubs her hands together. "At least this king is good at it."

"Very good," Lisenya said with a smile. "You will find Eddard's Rest to your liking, I think. It's a robust place but not without its charms. Cold though, in winter." She pretended to shiver.

"It gets cold here," she shrugged. "Fires are still warm in Eddard's rest I assume," she said. "It will be weird not being in a city."

Lisenya smiled. "Eddard's Rest is a city, though nothing as grand as Braavos. I suspect you enjoy shopping? There are plenty of stores in Eddard's Rest and we important many things."

Lisenya should feel a bit disingenuous saying Eddard's Rest, a town of forty thousand, is a city ot a Braavosi, a town of eight hundred thousand, but Giulia for now doensn't know that. "Well, I like shopping. I mostly like reading," she admitted. "It's why I learned Westerosi, to read more books."
