Upon the news of the sack of Fair Isle, Trajys makes his way to the council chambers, to meet with those advisers not currently engaged in the siege of Myr. He takes a seat at the council table, awaiting Queen Tristessa, Sarai Greyjoy, and Malthazar Nazaryl. He looks through the reports from his networks he had requested before the meeting, judging the damage done and the likely culprits.

Queen Tristessa looks profoundly annoyed at the news. She takes her seat and Sarai follows. "Any word, Trajys?" she asks, her sharp voice echoing a bit in the room. "One of our allies has stabbed us in the back while we're at war. I want them repaid. Immediately."

The Master of Coin arrives and takes his seat. "Lord Trajys." Malthazar had always, on principle, liked the Tyroshi spymaster. As Essosi, they shared a common tongue, if not a common dialect. "Did you know that while there are many accounts of Fair Isle's strategic importance, I could not find a single description of its weather or attractiveness?"

After a very clever conversation offscreen with Trajys about their employers, Malthazar stood when the Queen and Hand arrived, then sat back down after they did.

"The attack has all the qualities of an Ironborn raid." Trajys reported, wishing he had more to go on. "But the reports from those on Fair Isle are unclear. Either we have a captain suicidal enough to raid the lands of Lord Clarence or a competent copycat." His greyscale scarred face stretched as he adopted and apologetic frown. "The damage was thankfully not extensive; a few burned buildings and a a couple hundred thralls and soldiers dead."

Tristessa frowned and closed her eyes to think. "Lord Clarence is busy over here," she said, "so the risk for losing men would be low..." she taps her fingers. "Send word to Lord Harlaw to send a few patrol ships to the area and investigate further. I leave further actions to your expertise. Lord Nazaryl, find the funds, if you please."

"A wise course, Your Grace." Trajys replied, with a bow of his head. It was a curious mystery. "Are there any other matters of import that require the attention of the council?"

"How goes the war in Myr?" It seemed the obvious question.

"Well enough," Tessa said. "The Westerosi army is preparing to attack. I suspect, with the men they have on the ground, they should do rather well. They certainly do not lack seasoning in war, even," she looks around and realizes there are no Ironborn warriors, "well, it's nice not having to use that silly condition of them not being Ironborn. If the Starks and the Greyjoys ally, no one can withstand the combination."
