Far to the south of Myr, in a small gathering of towns, a Lysene army forms, led by Nyles Karellian, the Gallow's Man. It is largely light cavalry and levied infantry at the moment, made to raid the roads leading to Myr, seeking to cut it off from the flow of men and material coming from New Ghis.

Lord Captain of the Western Fleet; renowned captain, commander, and raider from Karhold to Yeen; third-in-command of the Iron Empire's military; conqueror of demons; slayer of gods. Lord Harwyn Goodbrother arrives with the men assigned to assist the Lysene army, his new armor and shield bearing the sigils of House Goodbrother and House Greyjoy, a motif matched by each man in his honor guard. While the last four years of war may have been calm when compared to the events leading up to them, Harwyn was not a man to sit idle, and his experience and reputation as a warrior and leader had earned him some of the finest men in the kingdoms as his elite guard. With the storm that had been circling Myr for years about to finally land, there was no better time to put his raiders to work.
Harwyn went to find the leader of the Lysene forces as soon as they joined forces, inspecting the soldiers he would be fighting beside as he passed through the towns.

Nyles 'Karellian' looks at him. He wields a Valyrian sword and sits tall atop his horse. "Was wondering if ole Killion would send anyone to help us out. These fucking Ghiscari aren't like to kill themselves," he said.

Harwyn eyes the man for a moment before chuckling. "Would ruin the fun if they did. I've brought five thousand with me, the rest are going to be attacking from the ships. We're yours to command unless the King sends word otherwise."

Nyles chuckles. "Good, I need a left flank. Unless you have a curious nature? I need folks with a curious nature. 'Specially weird cunts like the lot of ye raiders."

Harwyn grins immediately, although it falters as thoughts of Yeen lead to thoughts of Uhtred. "If you need a curious nature, you have your man. I hear things like this never go wrong."

"Never," Nyles confirmed. "We got word some sellswords may be heading this way from the cities between here and Volantis. We either coopt them or wipe them out."

"That's my kind of negotiation." Harwyn pat the head of the axe at his waist. "How many of them are there, and when do I leave?"

"We leave at dawn," Nyles said. "And no one has any clue how many there. Few thousand, likely." He shrugged. "But they won't want a real fight."

"They're marching to the wrong war if they don't want a fight." Harwyn scratched his beard. "See you when the sun rises, then."
