Korben Kenning sat among the goldlands camp, a small whetstone in hand as he worked on polishing his axe-head, and honing its edge. The young man looked barely aged despite the 4 years that passed, and he quietly hummed to himself as he set to work.
Despite his rather calm exterior however, inside he was practically shaking with anticipation. Korben would never admit it, not out loud at least, but he liked to fight. He liked war' he liked it quite a bit. While the peace had gone on, and many lords would try to tend to their lands or return to their families, Korben had done nearly the opposite, wandering the goldlands and keeping busy by squashing bandits or dealing with poachers.
And it had nearly driven him mad with how boring it had all been. Never before had he felt more like he did back in his youth then he did right then and there. Like he was running away from home, and all the responsibility it was waiting to shackle him with. His brother could keep Kayce, and it's lands for all kroben cared; seven knew he'd probably take better care of it then him.
He wanted to fight. He wanted to risk everything and to push himself to the limits. And now he could, with this next big battle. While he kept humming, he couldn't help but secretly hope that the cowardly lord proved as much a challenge to kill as his fathers army had.

Arthur Tyrell was on his way out of the camp when he saw the Kenning seated at his whetstone. Although they had never met, the man was well enough known to him for his to rein his horse, dismount and approach.
"Korben Kenning?" he asked a mite hesitantly, even though he was certain of the man's identity. "I am Arthur Tyrell of Brightwater Keep. I believe you fought with my mother's husband Lyonel Vikary in Dorne against the Daynes in the last war."

Korben looked up and stopped humming, glancing towards the young lord as he approached and slowly getting to his feet. "Vikary, Aye? Yeah, I fought with the man in Dorne. Damn good cavalryman. Wish he was here to help us scout this place..." He said before slowly grinning, giving a short bow to the young man.
"I think I've heard of you as well, Arthur Tyrell. At least some name mentions here or there during the battles north..." He said, going silent a bit as his own smile dropped somewhat of mention of the north. Quickly moving away from his own thoughts, his grin returned as he looked the man over, "Hmmm....So. What brings you to Essos? Looking to win yourself some glory?" He asked jovially.

"Partly." replied the young lord. "Peace is welcome in my own lands, but glory is to be found in war. And there is always plenty of that. It has the added advantage that this a good cause to fight for."
He grinned. "I am proud to participate in the final destruction of Frances Dayne. Ironborn notwithstanding."

"I'll go right now, as we won't have much time," she said, smiling at her brother and going off to find King Aaron, if we was around, he he hadn't arrived, she'd find Hector, if he was not there, she'd go and see the commander of the pentoshi Aaron is around, in his camp, recently arrived. He smiles as he sees Robyn. "Princess," he booms out in his giant sized voice, "so good to see you! Long way from that igloo you all live in, isn't it?" he joked.

Benjen meanwhile called together the various commanders of the Northern host in his tent. Lords Umber, Tully, everyone arrives. Mychel runs his hand through his hair as he looks at the gigantic city. "I thought King's Landing was big," he said with a trace of wonder. "Guess not."

"Robyn's travel south for the winter, didn't you know that?" she replied good naturedly, grinning up at the huge king. She had always liked Aaron, in her way. "How has peace been treating you?"

"I thought King's Landing was big," he said with a trace of wonder. "Guess not." "Size is always relative," Benjen said with a small chuckle, before adopting a more serious demeanour. "The Ironborn have every intent to destroy the city of Myr. Burn it down so it is nothing but ashes. I don't think that is a very... clever way of going about things and I am sure you will agree with me." He looked around at the men. "My sister has currently gone to speak to the other non-Ironborn commanders to persuade them not to fight unless the Ironborn give us their word that they will leave Myr standing. This army itself will not move until said word is given."

The big man thought a second on that and shrugged. "Not as peaceful down south as it could be, but hopefully working toward it," he said. "After this son of a whore dies, of course. You look like Winterfell and rulership agree with you," he said with evident satisfaction. "It says something about Westeros that we all only get along in an army, doesn't it? Feel like we should try having more friendly events."

If this turns into a serious disagreement we'll have to start disbanding troops by August." He stared at the giant city. "It seems like we're doing all the heavy lifting too. It's going to cost us five times as many men breaking that wall as it will take them to sail into an underdefended port and rape everyone."

"Frances Dayne is a man we all want dead but I agree with you," Benjen stated. "Nevertheless, Myr is no threat to us but a much closer and dangerous foe to the Ironborn. I mean to let them lead the charge on the harbour and soften up and distract the defenses before we move on the city. As for the walls - there are always more deceptive ways of taking them."

"Host a friendly event, and I am sure we will all come to it," Robyn smiled at the man and offered him some Northern Whiskey she had brought with her, "Frances Dayne is the enemy of all Westeros, we will be happier as a continent with him dead, though the same cannot be said for Myr, it really is such a shame," she shook her head sadly, "Such a waste."

Aaron shrugged. "Half a million slaves and fifty thousand slavers. Seems a waste as it stood to begin with," he said. He takes a gulp of the liquor. "Hot damn! Good stuff." He smoothed his long black hair down with his giant hand. "Myr will be Myr again one day, probably. There aren't enough Ironborn in the navies to destroy the whole city," he said. "You think every one of them will kill fifteen or thirty people? I don't. Cities are sacked and then rebuild. This is the way of things."

"One we collapse a section of wall I think the defenses will pslit like an overripe fruit," he said. "But they are thick and strong."
