The feast commenced shortly after the ceremony, which had been held in Casterly Rock's sept. The great hall had of course been decorated accordingly, with banners of red-gold and grey-silver hanging from the walls; the lions outnumbered the wolves two to one, though. The long tables were hardly visible under the large silver trays of crisp-skinned boars with apples in their mouths, platters of honeyed duck, ribs roasted in garlic and herbs, garnished with mint, oysters steamed in almond milk and various salads of sweetgrass and trout; cod, salt pork and vegetable pies, if one happened to be sitting below the salt. The wine was mostly from Arbor and Dorne, but above the salt, a sweet bubbly wine from the far east was generously distributed.
Musicians, jugglers, mummers, dancers from the east, and even a couple of fools were about to entertain the guests, warming up the atmosphere.
The queen was seated in the middle of the dais, next to her new husband, who'd somehow even managed to tame his unruly hair for the occasion, it seemed. Joanna had exchanged her ivory wedding dress for a brand new red and gold one; the third of its kind she'd had to commission for a wedding of hers. A gold crown embedded with rubies rested atop her golden hair.
King Terrence Stark and Queen Janelle had been given seats of honour next to her on the dais, as well as other important quests, such as Princess Nina Martell, Mychel Tully, prominent lords and ladies from the Goldlands, her Hand Lord Lefford, and the new lord of Castamere, who the queen had recently appointed the commander of her armies.
Tl;dr: Welcome to the party, bring presents and mingle.
