The Ironborn Fleet sails for Bear Island, eager to take vengeance on their foe. Killion sent scout ships ahead to scour the waters.

The harbor is dead and deserted, and Killion's men report that they see nothing, but the island is sixty miles by fifty miles, and so there is a lot of ground to cover if they want to seek out enemies.

It's only bare island if amelia stopped there
The army combs. In addition to fabulous hair, they also report a bunch of goofy wooden carvings being drawn all over the island. They look like skulls.

That was suitably fucking creepy but not exactly helpful. If there were no signs of life...or unlife, they would have to move on.

There's no signs of life. Unlife is more difficult to prove with their lack of need for air or food. There's no infrastructure, at least.

The fleet continues on to the Shadow Tower to join up with Malik. They could move against Frosthome from there. The ships lay anchor in the Bay of Ice, the army disembarking at the Shadow Tower.
