Once safe at the Rills, Amelia sits in front of a fire and seeks out Vhagus.

Vhagus appears in the flames after a few minutes, an unusually long time. He has a cut on his head. "Is it done?"

Amelia nods, wondering what battles Vhagus had seen that needed personal involvement. "He tried to open some sort of portal but was met by a tentacle. I pushed him and the thing grabbed him, pulled him inside. He's gone." She looks down. "Cassana died."

Vhagus is silent a long moment, an odd expression on his face. He collapses backward into a wall he stands next to and seems suddenly drained. Something's that might be a tear forms in his eye but doesn't fall. "I see." Another moment, and his deliberate and almost certainly false expressionless mask settles back on his face. "She has a daughter. Anything that befalls her will be visited on you a thousandfold. The Order is coming for dragons," he said. "And they are losing their discrimination between real ones and any other."

Amelia gave Vhagus a dark look. "I am sure Benjen is perfectly capable of looking after his daughter... and I may be needed at the Wall. I can send Riley to Eddard's Rest, if you wish, though I am not sure how well she will be trusted."

Vhagus tapped his fingers together. "Don't say I didn't warn you," he hissed, clearly running out of patience. "The Others aren't the only danger to your precious continent running amok." He shook his head. "The dragon glass should arrive by month's end. Ignore the Order at your peril. They will hate you and Riley, and they know how to express hatred."

Amelia frowned and almost winked out the flame but stopped herself. "Alright. Alright... I'll go to Eddard's Rest. There's only one person with dragonblood on Westeros that I know of and I'll make sure she's safe. Might have to take her into hiding though until the Order is dealt with." She sighed. "Dorne will probe problematic. Again."

"There are three now,@ he said, "thanks to your friend's invitation to my other sister and her son." He frowned. "If you have anyone better suited send them if you trust them; I understand your desire to smash the Others. But don't underestimate my love for my family," he added.

Maekar arrives outside Amelia's door, and knocks. He looks either way down the hall, knowing her reputation, he didn't need to be scene at her door at this hour of night.

"If you wish to help your family then come and help them," Amelia replied. "I will go to Eddard's Rest and send Riley north." She winked out the flame and turned towards the door. "Come in."

Maekar opens the door, and steps into her room. "Lady Amelia, I hope I wasn't interrupting anything." He looked around the room, sure that he had heard another voice.

"You are not," Ami said, rising and pouring two glasses of wine before sitting back down with one of them. "How can I help you?"
She seemed tired and stressed, many things evidently being on her mind.

He sat down across from her, and took the wine. He sipped it,"I came to ask a favor, but you seem stressed, Cassana's death was hard for you." In the few weeks on the road, Maekar had come to know the group's members better, even the bizarre wildling. He leaned forward in his chair, staring into the fire,"The battle with Oriax showed me firsthand how powerful sorcery really is, the Goldlands is in need of people like yourself." He took another sip, and his eyes moved from the fire back to her,"I have someone in mind."

Amelia studied the man, sipping softly from her wine. "You have someone in mind for what?" She asked when he was done, wondering what exactly he wanted. "Magic is useful, yes, and very powerful. But you have seen what it can do to people. People who hunger for power."
