Dozens of burned out corsairs and fishing boats are found, the refugees fleeing the dead on the Iron Islands finding no welcome from the extremely upset westerners on the mainland. Many were driven off or killed and more turned to the outlaw life to try surviving, and as the western raiders approach they hear the locals tell heroic tales of how many people they had plundered. Somewhat ironically the best treated of the refugees are those who thought to bring their thrills and salt wives to bargain for a scrap of freedom.

Ser Cedric rode next to Lord Tomas and the informant, having been relatively quiet the whole way there. He cleared his throat before speaking up. "Where is it, exactly?" he asked, looking to the girl they'd captured during the Lannisport raids.

"About five miles from the castle," she said nervously. Tomas isn't the most welcoming presence for those he suspects may be traitors. "In a big swampy area. There's an island in the swamp they built the place on. One of the big merchants' properties."

"Is the island approachable?" he inquired.

"There's a bridge everyone uses, and I htink you can approach through the swamps. I dunno about armor though, might make you sink," she said. Tomas rubs his chin.
"It'll have to do, then."

"Let's be done with this then..." Korben says as he looks away from the girl. He has dark circles under his eyes and appears paler then last time he was seen, like he hasn't slept well in a good while. The usual sarcastic humor of his and cocky grin is no where to be seen.

Tomas nodded. "Right. Burning man, Korben, you two take a dozen and get through that swamp. Once you've scouted, set this wildfire signal off and we'll roll these fucks up."

Cedric grunted in response at the nickname as he hadn't even actually been on fire, and had pretty much recovered from the explosion. He set off towards the island with Korben and a dozen men.

Korben sets off for the island, and as they arrive he looks to the men grimly. "Keep your eyes peeled, and your blades ready. And if you see anything dead...Don't trust it. Burn it or cut off its amrs and legs, just in case..." He brushes his hair out of his eye and turns to move forward, not taking sny chances of the dead rising here as well.

The swamp is thick and mosquito infested, but there are open waterways to make them nearly impossible to see as they traverse. They barely see the tops of the building they are seeking out now and again. The men grumble about seeing someone named "Charlie" and how it never seems like he strikes where you're expecting.

Cedric, who'd drawn his double daggers seeing as they should have been easier to swing around in a swamp than a sword, raised an eyebrow at the grumbling men. "The fuck's a Charlie?" he asked in a low voice, looking around in search of whoever that was.

As the men sneak through the swamp, Cedric and Korben see the clearing where the arena begins. There are a few guards, but most people are spectators or unwilling contestants for the games. Some sort of auction for the most attractive of the gladiators.

"Should light the signal now," he told Korben, and started back for a while so as not to alert anyone at the arena when lighting the fire.
