Joanna invited her former sister-in-law into the solar of her mansion, and of course ordered wine to be poured out and some cheese to be brought to the table. "Robyn!" she greeted with a smile, stepping forward to exchange courtesies. "I regret I wasn't in the city when you arrived. I take it your quest went well, then?" she inquired, offering the princess a seat.

Robyn did the same. "Hello Joanna," she said with a smile, waving off the apology, "I am sorry we could not stay to thank you, but time was of the essence, we arrived and then we left as soon as we got the group from the various kingdoms together," she explained, "It went as well as it could really, when you consider we went to investigate a ghost ship. It did not disappoint, we got chased by a mist monster, but we all made it back. Nick and Dacey are a bit beaten up though"
Robyn looks completely untouched.

"Well, I am glad you're in good health," Joanna replied, taking a seat. She raised an eyebrow. "A mist monster? So it must've been some sorcerer's doing," she frowned. This close to her own shores. "Did you find out who was behind it?"

"Not exactly, it would have to be someone very powerful, I first thought it might be the grey man, but I am changing my mind. Could always have been sent by the gods." She said with a wry smile. "How have you been?"

Neither of these men had even been invited to the meeting.
Joanna smirked at the gods comment. "I've been.. well, I suppose, thank you. All things considered," she replied, thinking back to the ghastly ordeal with King Brynden. "'The grey man'? When I was younger, magic belonged in books and old wives' tales. Now, sorcerers seem to be springing up like mushrooms after the rain," she said with a hint of distaste, and perhaps some annoyance.

"Yes... Tell me about it," Robyn said, shaking her head. "I can't move for sorcerers." It was a bit different, though, for her, apparently.
"I have a bit of time, actually, before I need to go back to Eddard's Rest, do you... Have time to go for a ride or something?" She asked pointedly.

Joanna debated whether to mention that the city wasn't exactly a prime holiday destination at the moment. She probably knew that herself, though. Going for rides was the last thing Joanna actually had time for, but she caught Robyn's.. pointedness. "I'll just have to make time," she replied with a small smile. "Anywhere in particular?"

"Good, we shouldn't be gone long, I would just like to see your lovely lands." Robyn said with a soft smile, "I'll meet you at the gates in half a turn"

///
Korben sat in a bed as he had bandages over the arrow wound he'd received, the damage from escaping the wretched ship tended to as well as he sat thinking to himself. The dead coming back to life...it was just an old wives tale to scare folks about winter. It was supposed to be about keeping the crops well stocked to survive the nights...weren't they?
Korben stared at his own hands as they shook, his dealing with the supernatural up until that point being able to be solved with a hard enough axe swing. Now though? He'd been sent to a different age on the whim of another, and there had been nothing he could od about it. To say he was shaken by the ordeal was an understatement.
