I was curious how much thought and discussion had gone into finding a new chat app. We've had Java since 2008 (at least) and while I'm rather sentimental, I am not sure Java shares the same attitude about us. People have been experiencing difficulty logging in, and prior to that, it was ignoring Google Chrome and other browsers. So the question stands...
Where do we go from here?
Whatever the answer is, it'd need to be publicly discussed, so noone is left out of the loop. I have come to believe that we are very much a community. We may not always play the same games, and our charter is intangible, but we are still a collective of like-minded individuals bound together by our active imaginations and love of roleplaying.
In short, I am calling a Town Hall Meeting. Any suggestions?

Java til I (or it) die/s! Ideally we would need one that makes a sound or highlights a name for tagging purposes. I would say we stick with this though until it's gone.

Damn you, conservatives! Because of you, I can't get in chat and not pay attention this religion class.
