"then you'll have Nick...and you'll be the Lady of the North," Terrence said. "We can send more men if need be, but with Frances launching his grand offensive soon we have too many enemies and not enough gold."

"Lucky we have the help of the richest kingdom then, in this at least" Robyn said, sighing "We have to do what we can with what we have."

"Exactly, but we will be fine, Robyn," he said. "I am saving our resources for when Oriax overextends. Best not show him our hand too soon, as he is holding back, I'm sure."

"I agree, but we need to know what we can," She smiled and kissed her father, "Perhaps I should go sooner rather than later, if time is of the essence"

"Your mother can plan the wedding and when we return it shall be the grandest event we have seen," he promised. "The day I lose my last little girl."

"If you say so," he said. "I demand adorable grandchildren, though," he said. "Send the letters and let's try cooperating for once. Like against the other Dayne."

"Please, one of the most handsome men in the kingdom and your own youngest daughter, you have to think they're adorable, " she grins and goes off to write the letters.

Benjen immediately comes to see his father.
"The Wall is breached, father," he said up front. "The Lord Commander let the walking dead through. We need to rally all the men we can right now."

Ben saw signs of mobilization since he had arrived, and the king nods. "Gerald sent that raven from Karhold. God damn that fucking man. Lord Tully has three thousand men being sent north, but they could use a commander. Ser Mychel doesn't have the experience i would prefer. I'm sending a letter to the Crowl to send a hundred Giants, and Melysa Stark is organizing the North until Lord Kalvin returns."

"What of the Vale? I doubt they can contribute much after the recent rebellion but every single man helps," Benjen asked, pouring himself some watered wine. "We need everyone else too. The Goldlands, the Kingsland and Dorne. The Iron Islands."

"Perhaps some will follow but everyone is seeking the end to France's Dayne," he said. "The Vale is under guarded as it is, but I shall send them word." He leaned back. "When you reach Winterfell I expect you to have seven thousand men even without the fleet."

"That should be enough for now, but it won't last," Benjen said. "Those that crossed the Wall already were merely a preliminary force. For now Oriax can't send the dead too far south or he loses control over them." He drank. "I also need to speak with Cassana. We need Rhaegys."

"So we reclaim the Wall and victory is ours for now," he said. "That seems attainable; there may be thousands of dead but even every remaining willing can't be more than ten or twenty thousand. Kal in has eight thousand trained and battle ready men." He nodded. "This is a threat but a manageable one for now. Take the Wall back and we can await reinforcements."
