"Freeing slaves, I wasn't aware my goodbrother was such an altruist." Killion replied, cracking a crab leg in half. "I freed the slaves when we conquered Tyrosh. Perhaps I should have been on the outlook for a sorceress among their ranks."
"Who won?" he asked curiously.

Amelia shrugged. "When water and fire meet they sort of cancel each other out. We both held back, as it was sort of an... audition." She looked to Riley and smiled.

Killion nodded as if he knew what the fuck they were talking about.
"Fascinating." he remarked, wondering why everyone seemed to be smiling at Riley. "That hair must be painfully bothersome to control during flight."

"I don't fight," she said. "This face is far too pretty to risk damage."

"I do wonder why I risk myself all the time in these fights," Amelia said to Riley, sticking her tongue out and pouring herself some more wine.

"I agree, but I said flight not fight." Killion chuckled, wondering if that red mane affected her hearing. "Must have looked like a banner fluttering from that dragon."
"As for why you fight, I think you just enjoy the attention Amelia."

"I have never seen myself flying, but my hair largely obeys my commands,@ she said. "But that would explain why Vhagus likes me in the vanguard," she laughed.

"The attention! Bah! I can get that in many other ways," Amelia states, but she's humourous about it.

"I am sure that is not the only reason he likes you in the vanguard." he smirked, laughing in turn as servants came around to ensure the wine goblets were filled to the brim. "I am sure you do Amelia, though little compares to the thrill of a fight. Perhaps you've a bit of reaver in you." He bit his tongue to keep from adding that she'd certainly had more than a bit if reavers in her.
"So, what happens after the Boltons are dead? Has my goodbrother said?""

Amelia shrugged. "He simply tasked me with killing Elias Bolton for a matter than he... disagreed with. Elias is not a nice man and I've been meaning to end him ever since I burned his face away. What happens then is up to Vhagus."

"Just Elias then?" he inquired. "What of his father?"

"Brother, Malryas," Amelia stated. "He is not the one who kidnapped Lyria and forced her to do the things she did, though if I see him... I do not know what I would do. He was my teacher once, and a good friend."

"Well with what he has become, putting him down sounds the best course of action." he said thoughtfully. "Either way, I doubt your history will do much to stay his hand once you have killed his brother. Such wounds are not forgotten."

"Unlikely, yes," Ami agreed. "They aren't Malryas and Elias anymore - they are demons who have taken over their bodies. It's just not easy killing a man who has the face of someone you trusted." She turned back to the food.

"Doubt there are many left alive foolish enough to trust you." he remarked, more playful than annoyed this time. "Dangerous for you to go back on the mainland. What if you run into your former allies?"
