The former seat of the Archon of Tyrosh, now the seat of Prince Killion Greyjoy, comprised of imposing battlements constructed around a central ornate spire. It overlooks the Bleeding Tower which guards the harbor and the sprawling marketplace. Its dungeons contain a collection of ingenious and infamous Tyroshi torture devices. The halls always smell of fresh pears, from the orchards in a central garden, with which the famous Tyroshi brandy is distilled.

Killion returned from Mason's Keep and immediately heads up to visit his wife and son.

To his probable surprise, in addition to his wife and son, his sister in law Daena and another little boy are nearby. Dawna looks much like Tristessa, but is a bit taller and short haired. Tessa smiles. "Husband," she said. "This is Daena. She is stopping by to visit." The lady nods politely. "You're hurt? Who did it his time?" She looks at him with concern.

"Welcome to Tyrosh. Glad to see you two have mended things." he remarked, with a charming smile and incline of his head to Daena in greeting. "I did some mending myself at Mason's Keep, though some of the Goldlandeds accepted it easier than others, prickly bunch that they are. Formal duels do not seem to agree with me as much as informal ones."

"That's why I prefer you to do your killing with an army," she said. "Latham, go to your father." The toddler looks up and waves as he waddles over."

"Not many reavers who would follow a man that cannot kill on his own." he remarked, raising an eyebrow at the name she had given the child, but scooping him up in an affectionate embrace all the same. "We'll have you killing greenlanders yourself soon enough." he cooed.

autocorrected from Kargan!
"Well, you kill enemies, not people you ally with," she commented. "But at least you're here. Daena has been telling me that Volantis is back to its usual backstabbing."

(Haha weirdest autocorrect ever)
"One and the same at times." he replied, turning serious as he set young Kargan down, tussling his hair a bit. "Aye, as Volantis has shown, a treaty is sometimes worth less than the vellum it is signed upon."

"Vellum is expensive," Daena noted. "But there's a small silver lining. Two of the tigers have died in office. Elections for the next ones are going to be held soon."

"And promises are cheap, especially a merchant's." he replied before raising an eyebrow at the news. "That is excellent news. I will reach out to the elephants. Perhaps they will be more amiable to us and less to Dayne. Especially after Myr is crippled."

"The elections will be in January," she said. "Should be an opportunity for some real chaos."

"It should be." he mused, thinking a moment. "Let's invite the leaders of the elephants and the Sealord of Braavos to dinner. Perhaps we will see of reasonable men cannot plot a less contentious course for these waters."

"Braavos and Volantis will always be at war," Tristessa said. "They hate each other worse than you and the greenlanders, and their struggle makes far more sense."

"More than they love coin?" he asked pointedly, though was not sure this was an obstacle that could be surmounted. "If not, invite them on separate dates. I would have words with both parties."

Tristessa nodded. "I shall ensure their reception will guarantee good hearings," she promised. Daena looked about.
"I like what you've done with the place," she said.
