Varena nodded. "Sounds lovely. Lord Godric is spending his time talking about the biggest fish he ever caught. Apparently it was SO BIG.
Mychel looks about. "Your mother takes a great deal of interest in your lands," he said placidly. "Where does she live now?"

"My mother is married to Ser Lyonel Vikary, a veteran of the Dornish war against Bryce Dayne. She lives not far from Riverrun with her husband and my new baby sister. My father died shortly after I was born and my mother ruled Brightwater Keep for me up until the end of the war.", Arthur explained to their quizzical faces.
He smiled. "Mother is still a frequent visitor, as I am currently squired to my step-father. However I rule Brightwater Keep myself now."

Mychel nodded. "Interesting." He goes to say more, but Godric hops in.
"A wedding it'll be!" he says, apparently delighted. He isn't even drinking.

Arthur acknowledged Lord Godric with a slight raising of his cup. He turned to Mychel. "What about yourself Ser? Your grandfather would like to see you wedded, I have no doubt, in order to perpetuate the Tully line. Are there any fair ladies here or in the North or Goldlands that would be worthy of the title 'Lady of Riverrun'?"

Mychel nodded. "There's a fair amount," he said. "I've been looking into my options quite recently. I've heard King's Landing has a princess," he shrugged. "Time will tell, you know."

"Indeed." replied Arthur. He looked across at Varena. "In the meantime I shall look forward to my own wedding with your fair sister."

Mychel nods. "Good, I look forward to it, too," he smiled and toasted the happy couple.

As they ate, Arthur and his mother exchanged the usual small-talk and gossip with the Tullys. As they finished eating, Cersei poured another cup of wine.
"A sumptuous meal, my Lord Godric, worthy of a wedding, if this was one. All we need to do now is set a date and place for the nuptials of the happy couple." she said, looking towards where Arthur and Varena were seated.

"Autumn will come soon. Why not after the festival? Either castle is fine."

"Ive always wanted to visit Riverrun, so perhaps there." replied Arthur. "There will be plenty of time for Valena to see Brightwater Keep."

Godric nods. "It is so!" He said. "Word will be sent immediately...by..." He looks about. "Harry! Go tell the castellan to get the castle ready!"
